Warm lofi soundtrack and some reassuring advice about the dream I want to pursue. Thanks for sharing! Repeating first year here, hoping to graduate in 2026 from Southampton with a BEng, and hopefully earn a spot on the BM4 course. I wonder where I’ll be in two years’ time…

Do you need to have a high 2:1? So more than 65%? Or 2:1 would be enough to apply?

St. George University allegedly is allegedly running a criminal enterprise of money laundering. It is ripping students off. Compared to all other medical schools in the Caribbean and Central America, it is the most expensive. They are accepting and graduating (breading) medical students as RABBITS. The quality of education is no better than any other school. The attrition rate (dropout) is 30% to 35% as per SGU students, but SGU lies and states the attrition rate is only 10%. The focus remains not on learning but on memorization to pass the USMLEs. The majority of students who graduate from St. Georges are not very smart as they were rejected from US medical schools in the first place. Together with a focus on incompetent nurse practitioners and foreign medical graduates, the healthcare system in the United States is doomed. St. Georges does not care about students or alumni. They are just another number, suckers, and free money in the eyes of Chancellor Charles Modica, who uses students, alumni, and their money for his luxuries. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TkMJul2-cHE.html St. Georges allegedly bribes officials at various hospitals in the USA offers them free trips, and then donates up to a million dollars to develop affiliations, e.g., at Jersey Shore University Hospital, Neptune, NJ. THE ADMISSIONS OFFICE IS NOTHING BUT A TELEMARKETING COMPANY, WHERE THE SO-CALLED ADMISSIONS OFFICERS (in reality salesmen and saleswomen) keep harassing individual students to sign up. The admissions criterion is not universal and depends on which country the student is from. The admissions office tries to recruit students mostly from the USA because of the Federal student loans the students can get. It's almost $100,000 per year ($500,000 over 4 to 5 years), once you add tuition, housing, meals, travel, etc., etc. It's allegedly a money-making scheme for the Italian Mafia and their money laundering enterprise at St. Georges. SGU does not provide adequate student support such as mental health support, SGU uses upper-level students to provide support. Anatomy lab is a joke as unlike US medical schools, students are not allowed to do any dissection, instead, dissection is done by TAs or lab assistants and structures labeled for students to watch and memorize for the tests, which is the worst way to learn human anatomy. You can learn better anatomy by watching videos. Stay away from this so-called alleged criminal enterprise. Look at other Caribbean Medical Schools for less than half the price of St. George and by the time you are done with school you will have saved over $200,000 in tuition and that will pay a significant amount for a down payment for your new house as you get started in your new professional career. The Justice Department and all Attorney Generals need to investigate and shut down this criminal enterprise. Consider other schools, save tons of money, and make an educated decision: 1) American University of the Caribbean - St. Maarten 2) Saba University - Saba Island 3) Ross University - Barbados 4) Caribbean Medical University - Curacao 5) American University of Antigua - Antigua 6) Xavier University - Aruba 7) St. James University - Antigua

Hi there, I am applying for Warwick this year and I’m at the part where I enter my work experiences through the link they provided. Do you remember how you found out the Registration body and Registration number of the organisations you worked at or had work experiences with? Struggling to find this right now and the Bank team from my hospital also doesn’t know 🥲

Hey Marius, how come you didn’t decide to sit the GAMSAT and instead took the risk of placing all your eggs in the UCAT basket? Obviously it paid off for you to do so (hurrah), but I just wondered why you didn’t do the GAMSAT as a backup?

Hey Marius, thanks for the videos, very helpful! Just wondered how you managed the London to Soton journey each week? Did you need to be in uni every weekday? And did this change into year 3/4? Many thanks again, Joel

Afternoon Joel, i hope you’re well. The drive was about 1h15min so I just got in the car, put on some Armando Hasudungan and got going. Was hard work but I found it manageable. Usually we had things on campus Monday and Friday, then Wednesday and Thursday at Winchester on placement. I’d expect to be in most weekdays but maybe as lectures move increasingly online you could expect to not have to be in as much? Difficult to say. Hope that helps.

Hi Marius, I hope you are well. I would really appreciate your help. I’m hoping to apply for GEM this year at Warwick and I volunteer at my local hospital. I have roles like greeting people and briefly interacting with patients but I saw Warwick’s website and it states across two places with hands on experience. What sort of work experience shall i ask my volunteers manager for ? The most I will be alllowed to do is feed patients on the ward and take part in dementia workshops. I am also a non science graduate so I won’t be able to get a job as a HCA or doing anything sciencey please help

Hi Marius, I noticed you mentioned that most improvement in AR came by completing the whole question bank for AR on medify. I'm quite worried that there will be so many questions in the AR question bank on Medify that I realistically won't be able to complete all of them to secure my best chances of getting a decent AR score. Is this a pointless worry or is it actually possible to complete the AR question bank so I've seen most the patterns that could come up?
@mariushugh
@mariushugh Год назад
Yo! I would suggest you just try your best to do as many as possible. Don't worry about whether or not you'll complete it just get going with the actual effort of doing the questions! all the best

hey I have finished my year 1 Biomedical science just now and I'm not sure when to apply in year 2 of Biomedical Sciences. I have been getting 69%-74% and hopefully I get 70% overall in my degree. I have done UCAT so many times but I didnt see any improvements in that either (do you do tutoring for the UCAT). I am also doing work experience in a care home as a carer but I don't know if that counts as work experience.. do you know any places I could apply to for work experience? because I have applied to so many and nobody even got back to me. Thank you for the video btw your videos are very helpful.

Hey, so we apply for graduate medicine when we start year 3. Just like in A level when you apply at the beginning of yr 13 with UCAS. Working as a carer is perfect, if u want more experience you can talk to your local GP or hospital and ask them. Tell them you are applying to graduate medicine and would love to get some experience in a hospital setting. In terms of UCAT I would highly recommend Medentry, however, you don't need to start studying for the UCAT until about 3 - 6 weeks before your test.
