This fed my Japan addiction so much.... Thank you for the video!!! It was fun to watch you go on a journey throughout such a beautiful country! It was also funny to see people strike a pose when they noticed you're unintentionally filming them, that was the cherry on top for me lol!
8:24 Olie, may you soon get your bag, gears, camera 📸 and the lost memory card fully secured and intact asap!! 😔 👍 Bad luck 🤞 but, All the Best 👈 My heart 🧡is with you for this - as all your hard work will be in those lost recordings. Take better precautions next time of locking the bags with a single chain in busy crowds of such places!! Put the video resources that are not backed-up in more secure bags while travelling and distribute your gears in different bags or take extra care of your costly gear bag especially while on the move. Don't worry 🙂 ..Best Wishes 👍

Why didn't you visit the shrine when you went to the sacred Yasukuni Shrine precincts to have a meal? The restaurant staff told you that if you wanted to tip, you should better to make a donation to the shrine Or,at any rate,.Hope you will enjoy Japan again.
if you visit the northern part of the country, then these places will be best to visit in the summer as they are in the Himalayas, are very beautiful, and have a lot of Tibetan Buddhist Monasteries, heritage and culture: 1) Gangtok, Sikkim 2) Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh 3) Leh, Ladakh 4) Dharmshala, Himachal Pradesh 5) Manali, Himachal Pradesh 6) Darjeeling, West Bengal 7) Kalimpong, West Bengal 8) Rishikesh, Uttarakhand
I think Tokyo is a very special place in Japan. Because people are physically close to each other and it becomes difficult to secure personal space, give-and-take occurs. As a result, I feel that we have come to respect each other as individuals. As someone who finds interpersonal relationships bothersome, this kind of atmosphere actually makes me feel comfortable. Although Japanese culture tends to emphasize cooperation, there are many people who feel that individual freedom should be respected. The coldness of the city isn't all bad :) Japanese people may not show their emotions much. But often it is based on the desire to live comfortably with each other. I'm thinking hard about how I can tell the other person without being rude. If you ever come to Japan again, please enjoy it!
カラオケは、日本発祥です!決して中国ではありません!!! ここは、日本です欧米では御座いません、違いを実感するのが旅です! グダグダ言わず、日本を楽しめや!!! Karaoke originated in Japan! Definitely not China! ! ! This is Japan, you won't find it in Europe or America, and traveling is the way to experience the difference! Enjoy Japan without complaining! ! !
Back in the days of the British Illegal & Brutal Occupation of India, the Britishers, simply in order to disrespect Indian religions, used to go with their shoes on, inside temples, Gurudwaras etc.
Part of India's wealth disparity is to be blamed on the Britishers. British during their Illegal & Brutal occupation of India stole our resources, apart from the brutalities they committed. The people who took over post independence from British Illegal & Brutal occupation didn't help our case either.
It's unfortunate that you've lost your video footage. You should travel to the northern part of the country and experience the difference in the way of life. India is incredibly diverse.

I also went to India as a backpacker when I was 25 years old. At that time there was no internet or smartphones so it was very difficult. I experienced a huge culture shock, but I love India. They make a lot of effort to survive. I was scammed a lot, but it's a good memory. I was scammed out of $300. But India is so vibrant and I love it!
Old Hindu temples are architectural designed to collect good energy from cosmos. When people spend time or meditate, they get those energy in a spiritual way. Science have shown old temple idols are made of material to make this cycle effective. Shirtless is a way to maximize the energy transaction. Hinduism is about cosmos and science intertwined with daily life.

Yes, that was probably me. I used to be apart of the channel ‘Barrett’ in China with my Dad. Certainly couldn’t stick your head out on the Chinese bullet trains 😅
I’m glad I found your channel because your content provides a real local perspective, and it’s also very useful for studying English. It’s very fascinating
