日本を楽しんでくれるのは嬉しいけど、最低限のマナーは調べてきてほしい。 日本語がわからないのは仕方ないけど、英語が話せないことに対して不満を持つのはおかしい。ここは日本。日本語が母国語で英語で会話することはない。お邪魔してるのは観光客の方。 何も知らない状態で新しい体験をするのは本人にとっては最高な体験かもしれないけど、そこに住む人々にとっては気分が良くない。 外国人観光客がこういう人ばかり来るようになったら困る。 ルールやマナーを調べた上で間違えてしまうのは許容するけど、最初から調べてこないのはその国の人を馬鹿にしていると思われても仕方ない。 ゴミ箱がないことに不満を持つのではなく、なぜそれでも食べ歩きしてる日本人がほとんどいないのか、どう対処してるのか学んでほしい。 その辺の日本人に話しかけるならそういうこともGoogle翻訳でも使って聞いてみればいいのにと思う。 厳しいことを言ってごめんなさい。 素敵なチャンネルですが、そういう外国人が増えて日々困っています。

Oli-san, thank you for the video and I'm enjoying them. One thing that I would like to tell you is, kindly avoid entering the temple with a drink or food. It is a purified place especially in the morning when the monk is reading sutras. We would like you to be devout and polite even though you are not a Buddhist and so would we in the church when we are in western countries. You are able to have some food and drink on the day of the temple fair, as they organize street stalls.

💦My goodness, all those delicious foods every where! I was so jealous watching it to be honest because we can't get most of those outside Japan where I live and I miss all of them so much! (I'm Japanese and live in Canada now for 30 yrs) I'm so glad you made it to the real traditional Japanese sushi restaurant with your friends. That's the true sushi experience in Japan for authentic dishes and style. It was absolutely mouthwatering watching it though. 🤤 The teen age Japanese/Korean/Brazilian guy reminded of myself when I was around his age. I'm mix with a 1/4 of Filipino but not because of my ethnic background but it's because where I grew up partly in Mexico when I was much younger with my family and then we went back to Japan afterwards. I was pretty much Mexicanized (is it a word?) or westernized more or less by the time my family returned to Japan and it was a bit of a struggle for me as well trying to fit in to Japanese society and culture although I was still young. I did all right trying to become Japanese again but as I was growing older particularly in my late teens, I had kind of a identity crisis perhaps just like that young guy you were having conversation with by Sumida river. I wasn't sure whether I was Japanese, Mexican or something else. I also became more aware about my sexuality as a gay man but Japan wasn't so open and definitely not as "inclusive" as it is now back then so I always had to suppress myself and to pretend to be as a straight man as possibly I could at that time but it was not a happy life for me. So all of that experience about my life made me think and wanted to live somewhere in a foreign country so I started to prepare myself to achieve that goal and dream myself until my whole family also decided to move to Canada but it was already when I was in my 20's. I wished I moved to Canada when I was much younger. Living in Japan where it's still a monoethnic country, being a bi racial, multi racial or returnee growing up abroad like myself would experience almost the same experience or sense of being always an outsider because majority of Japanese people would look at them differently or sometimes treat them differently without any mal intention. You also notice yourself that the way you think and what you accustom to are different from typical Japanese people. I also feel the similar way even now living in Canada after 30 years because I fall into somewhere in between Japan and Canada but I had already accepted and embraced myself to be ok to be different and especially living in Canada makes me feel safe as most of us here are immigrant from all different parts of the world. Thanks for another interesting video about Tokyo, it was very entertaining to watch an English man wandering around the huge mega strange place in Tokyo. I wished you could stay longer in Japan to the point where you could even speak in Japanese with other Japanese people but we will save that for the near future, shall we? LOL
