If you have a seized something on a vehicle and you don't think to wiggle it back and forth to try and get it out... what are you doing to working on a vehicle? Like duh...
Also do a PPSR on the vehicle. I was about to buy a HiAce from this Afghan guy named Mohammad here in Adelaide and he claimed to not know what the VIN number was so we paid $10 to run a PPSR using the number plate (is only $2 with the VIN) and it came up as previously being a repairable write off. Some really dodgy stuff going on out there.
I changed the boot lock on my 2020 Tiguan last week. I removed the torx screws and just unclipped the panel at the bottom around the lock without removing it completely, there is no need to remove the side trims or the top one. You can then bend it enough to use a ring spanner to remove and refit the lock. It took about 20 minutes.
It's not caused by oil. It's exacerbated by oil. Mercedes got the metallurgy of the balance shaft wrong. Metal is too soft, the timing chain will grind the balance shaft sprocket teeth off no matter what. Happens at a lower mileage in the early m272s and it happens at a higher mileage in the later m272s.
Mate my vt when i start it up first thing in the morning and i drive the car and i turn a corner mainly happens when im turning left i her this water gushing from the back of the dash on drivers side do you know if this could have ro do with heater, thanks for your help 👍
Just did mine and replaced Gromets. When pulling it off and was not hard as old ones has oil added by Dealer, one Gromet stayed on Engine Mounts which is the wrong way. To get them off in case they stay on those mounts instead of the Cover, use a screwdriver to wedge right into the hole and simply turn and pull the rubber up.
Those 4 Rubber Gromets need replacing each 4yrs with the Air Filter. That is why it was hard to remove and likely from not doing as scheduled. There could be suction under these same as there is for the Coils.
Absolute shit design. I have big arms and it’s ducking hard af. Scratched my arms like crazy. I reckon it’s made for Japanese people with their tiny ass hands
I wonder some put the front ones wrong the down part of the covers are up. They have to be like the one you have in the back. The one broken someone left loose or put wrong as the front ones.
If you read the shop manual, those clips do remove to release the radiator. The manual shows to remove the condenser by removing the radiator from inside the engine bay without removing the bumper at all.
Hi sir, im doing repair on a starex right now, brake issue, goes hard when idling, but OK when rev up. I done changing the booster, valve hose & this vacuum pump. But nothing changes. Still hard during idling. What could be the problem? Is it possible it caused by the clogged oil passage from cylinder into pump?
