Only works on newer model tacomas. 2004 has a totally different switch. I wasted money on a relay and desoldering tool just to realize you should have included the year on this video, and that I should have just gone to the local junkyard instead of trying to replace a relay.

There's really no set items for this. In general, when giving you an estimate, they'll look at D as the fourth letter and start you off with 4 hour of labor. But D will just include the normal things under A & B plus whatever shows up in the service menu. For example, there may be a tow hitch inspection or a fuel filter replacement. Use the service menu, write down the different service (numbers) that the car calls for and then look at a service sheet to see what gets done.

BRILLIANT! Had this unit for years (used for electric bass). Couldn't work out what the crackle was. Mine broke exactly the same as yours. Given the propensity of the stiff antenna to get caught on things and therefore put pressure on the solder join, I've replaced the antenna with a piece of coated wire. Works a treat and is less likely to put pressure on the join. Thanks for this. I nearly threw it out!
I just did front rotors pads and rotors on 2015 gl550.aftermarket rotors mercedes pads.now brake noise is coming.as soon as i am about stop or sometime when i touch brake pedal.
Sorry for delayed reply. Make sure any part that slides, glides, or comes in contact with each other is lubricated. Except for the pad material and rotor of course. Aside from that, defective parts can cause this or damaged, misaligned rotor/caliper can also make noise.
@@ace789nj thank it was my slider pin.also replaced ratlling clip.along with one rotor.customer had done brake job at another shop.came to me after squeak noise.which other shop failed to resolve.
Just fix mine. It makes the sound as it trys to open, but does not open. Had to open from inside trunk handle. What I did I check the hook at the latch with the screw driver (as shown in the video). The latch locked. Then I simply push the remote handle to close it and it works.The latch release the hook, the trunk closes then locks. I open it several times and no problem. I believe that somehow one person push the remote trunk switch and other one outside pull the handle. That action make the sistem unable to open the trunk. It just make a noise as it try to open it, but nothing happen. To can open it, you have to go inside and release the cable handle, but when it closes it locks again so you stuck again :) I also put some wd inside the latch just in case :)
How hard was it to do fr? Mine was $60 on eBay, still waiting on that slow boat from China to get to the states. My buddy took my old (SLK) latch off, but I'm hoping with the help of a this video, me n my BFF can do it ourselves... Cross your fingers, and wish us luck! 💕🙂
@@kimberlyharshfield8629 it took no time. Hardest thing was to get the plastic truck cover off with all the plastic pop in, pop out screws😒 other than that. Two screws to take it out and pop the new one in. Replace the plastic tabs and was all good to go!
Thanks for the Great video. I have a 2011 sienna with the same problem but I can't access the relay on the switch. Toyota molded the switch body into one piece. Any ideas on how to get at it?

$1200-1400 at the dealer with new rotors and pads. $ 800 at dealer to change just the pads. You can get a good quality replacements pads for the front for 85.00. 😢😢😢😢
So my problem is that my laptop is connected to my LG TV via a HDMI cable and it says there's no signal but when I plug in my DVD player to the TV it all comes up fine so I don't think it's a hardware issue. Any ideas?
