I swear every time I leave you guys show up right after 😂 there's still some trout lurking in there but give it about another week and then there gone till the fall and the bluegill are just starting to bed i wish they would stock some slabs and one day maybe put some structure in so that the gill and cats will be able to get bigger and spawn
I would say this is not the best place for little children to swim, this is a fairly often fished spot and it is not uncommon for hooks or other sharp fishing supplies to be in the water, I would suggest taking kids to a place called Boulder Beach, also on Lake Mead, that place is reserved for swimming and will not have fishing hooks or lures in the water. Be sure to have children wear life vests as the water can be fairly dangerous on Windy days.
Man, I think you guys walked past us when you guys got there on that day. I was taking my mom and wife out. I thought I recognized your cart should’ve said hello. I know I’ve been behind on posting videos, but I want you guys to know that I enjoy the stuff that you guys put out
Surrounded by steep canyon walls along the Colorado River, Willow Beach is a paddlecrafter's dream destination. Many visitors choose to take a guided raft or kayak trip from the base of the Hoover Dam to Willow Beach, stopping at coves, hot springs and waterfalls along the way. Others drive straight to Willow Beach where you can rent boats or paddlecraft and fish from the accessible pier. Fishing is a year-round activity at Willow Beach each season bringing its own exciting opportunities. For those without a boat, there is an accessible fishing pier, and many enjoy fishing right from the shore. Fishing equipment, bait and supplies are available at the marina store. A convenient fish cleaning station is located east of the marina parking lot. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Willow Beach Fish Hatchery is located north of the marina near the fishing pier. They routinely release rainbow trout on Thursdays. You can also tour their facility.
Bro I thought that was u😆 Story is my Father inlaw told me he want to take me fishing coulle days before this. But 3 years ago he told me the same thing. And me being a fisherman from Maui Hi born n raised fishing n hunting I said yes. He took me to a spot and I had to watch ducks catch trout and I didn't even get a nibble. I was mad at the ducks. Never went back until this trip to willows😆😆 But when my dad told me to come with him this time I went to RU-vid and literally watched all your vids because it was my destiny to score some fish. I was the big guy to your left😅 if I knew you were the guys I watched all day so I could catch I would have walked up but I didn't realize it. So thankyou for your vids. If I see yall their again I'll come say hi. Alohas ma baddah🤙🤙
At Willow beach that’s why you get such big stripers have a cop number of huge stripers there because they drop the trout from the refresh rate and that’s bait. That’s why the stripers are so big.
If there's one thing I hate it's people who leave trash I have found more trash and tackle just laying there like someone dumped there tackle box and cooler and just left with no concern. The worst I see alot is at the Veterans Pond in BC I'm amazed all the time that people seriously don't care about leaving no trace as to not only look out for wildlife but also to leave it clean for the next fisherman or family to enjoy
@@FishinMoney thanks for doing your part and showing others an example of how people should be 💯 and yes I tend to find a lot of great tackle as well do to others carelessness
As a montanan: we are all raised to leave no trace. I end up in the south east and those guys fucking DESTROY every bit of natural beauty they come across. The hunt by luring, not tracking, rip everything up by "mudding", and just cannabalize or wreck everything for corporate profit (water tables, land, forest, etc..). I hunt, fish, and camp, but down here, all the hunting, fishing, and camping is pathetic. I miss my home.
Love Montana, I lived there for a couple years. Definitely a special place. Thanks for the comment! And good to see another like minded individual. #leavenotrace
I was taught the same way from boy scouts ,dad and uncle ,your a rare bird today ,camping is a privilege littering is not a right ,I solute you sir, thank you keep it up
Rebel Craw from the teeny wee craw all the way to the Big craw there all Rebel Craw and that's my go to no matter what size or color I just love them all
@LivingstonLures hook these local boys up with some gear they out here plugging the brand an losing gear in the same vid on there own dime that's how real content is made. Fishinmoney is real people creating content for real people and need to be recognized for that 💯
@@FishinMoney it was a yellowish 1/8 and had beat to hell and in the elements just a little bit of the tail left 😂 but on my second cast I hooked up on a just over 5 pound largemouth
@@basicajax9109We like to live life on the edge. Lol. In all seriousness I was packing super light that day, and forgot to bring my pliers with me. I made it work though, happy I didn’t get a hook in my thumb.
I was actually leaving when y'all were pulling in wish I would have stayed a little longer that day but they weren't really hitting that day and decided to go slay 20 stripers
As long as you got a rod and tackle and can see water it's ok to have no clue where you are cause in that moment you're where you need to be and congratulations on the add to your species list
Thanks! I’ve always wanted to catch peacock bass but I’ve never had the chance to fish freshwater in Florida. But I was able to do it this trip. Have you ever been?
