Hello, is this place safe for small kids to swim? Is it deep? Are there any snakes or crocs or any other creatures to watch out for?

I would say this is not the best place for little children to swim, this is a fairly often fished spot and it is not uncommon for hooks or other sharp fishing supplies to be in the water, I would suggest taking kids to a place called Boulder Beach, also on Lake Mead, that place is reserved for swimming and will not have fishing hooks or lures in the water. Be sure to have children wear life vests as the water can be fairly dangerous on Windy days.
