Some advices from my game play experiences: 1. When invite villagers, build extraction shed to collect stone and wood shed to make tools either by your self or by villagers after building resouce and food storages. 2. For food, you need to build only hunting shed to hunt meat and then make dried meat which last longer and doesnt to build kitchen because in the early state, your building limit is narrow so need converse some of it. 3. For keeping warm, my suggest that only use logs, yes i know its sound ridiculous but here the thing: logs burn longer and use way more effective than fire wood and doesnt need to converse logs to fire woods so it also save a lot of work. Plus more logs means more resouces to build and easier to keep warm the villagers. 4. When your extraction shed and wood shed is done, you may want to build the tier 1 smithy ( i dont remember the name ) to auto make tools for your villagers to work. 5. When invite villagers for manage the animals, focus only for male, because if you let female do the work at the animals, you cant collect any thing from them so its best for male villagers to do so. That is all, if you have any questions feel free to ask.
Nobody is making you steal 😬 I made a poll asking the viewers, and they voted for it. Just go to the abandoned buildings, and you'll get plenty of starter money
I just got through my first year and im on the quest to get 10 villagers. My plan is to move my village somewhere else (thinking this lake too because its closeish to a mine wnd isna good area in general). I want to get moved after 10 villagers instead of waiting so it's a quick thing to get done. But im going to destroy it because I'll probably need that building count and i dont want unnecessary taxes
Yea, it may be best to move slowly but surely. You may be able to increase building limit too if you haven't in the custom game settings. That should help with the move
New to the game here 👋 How’d you remove the rock to be able to place your field? I’ve struggled building where I want due to little rocks I can’t pick up or mine
Underneath the crazy guys house in the swamp is a backpack and some coin. Just crouch and crawl under. Can only get it from one certain side of the house.
Love your videos, they are really helpfull for me. Also love your bg music, but I keep losing focus 'cause I'm singing the lyrics in my head. Always have to rewind a couple of seconds x)
Can anyone please tell me what the game is, that holds the music which starts at @3.25, i whistle that tune on a regular morning at work to myself but i cant figure what game it is, i use to think it was stronghold 2 but im starting to think otherwise (ive looked before to no avail) i cannot believe its proped up on one of your videos sirjay! Well im not suprised maybe but still 😅 oh my god! Ive looked for this for years 😂 please someone have my answer
@@SirJayWalker thanks jay! I thought I had looked through the stronghold soundtrack.... not well enough evidently 🤦♂️ haha that was such a fond memory 🤎
Or for #7, you could build a barn very quickly and collect manure from vendors across the map as it is significantly cheaper than fertilizer. I don't bother with berries for anything other than food during my playthroughs, they give a lot of water per berry and that can be useful if you don't happen to have a full water bucket or waterskin on you ... I would say another mistake is placing your settlement too far from essential and/or the most profitable resources. I never settle near poplars anymore because the output of wood is less when harvesting it myself - I also settle close to fishing sources, preferably more than one, and get fishing going asap. Salted fish are very valuable, but until you get the salt barrel in the hunting lodge or fishing hut II, dried or roasted fish are a lot more valuable than dried or roasted meat. You can also buy Roach from a few vendors for relatively cheap to build up a large supply ... you only need the fishing hut to prepare the fish as fish meat and it comes with a drying rack. I think you can buy one Roach for 2-3 coins, but resell the dried fish meat for like 8-10 and the salted fish meat for 15-19 depending on your bartering trade level. Also it's a good idea to settle within a reasonable distance to a harvestable mine ... one trip through and you'll have all the salt you would need for 2-3 rounds of salted fish and you can sell or stockpile the other resources until you have a forge.
Nossa esperando dia 27 para poder jogar nesse mapa novo e tava ja planejado as facas pra vender, ainda bem que achei seu video, vou caçar ate não poder mais no início e ir atras do pão e das ferramentas.
I'm so glad. I got to catch some live. I'm catching up on what I missed. Ready for the next. Love this series. I wish I had found you and the community earlier when you first started your original MD
Delivery system isn't working for 90% of things for me since the update. Eg I have a daily transfer of mud set up but in a week not one delivery has been made. Not working at all.
You can eat preditory animals. Just dont eat the liver. It will poison you. Try to stick to herbivores. I cant wait on the update feels like its takeing forever. Im on console and there needs to be a few qol changes for spliting stacks and things. I wish yhey would add more to do with bandits. I rarely see them and id like to defend my town some from them. Animal attacks as well.
@@SirJayWalker did would be nice. After you get your town running doesnt seem like much to do other than explore and kill animals and only so much you can do of that.
