Looo up the remmington model 341 in 22lr, very old guns but man do they give me the fizz when shooting. Similar to lever actions, the action is externally unique (it was patented by remmington and has yet to be used in another bolt action since). I’ve had very few jams with that rifle, and something about watching that lifter grabbing 22 from the tube is just great to see and feel.
Lever actions definitely a fun time and can propose for a bit more fun in my opinion; although nothing beats sitting/laying down and taking your time with a good ol’ bolt action.
Cool piece there! Just ordered myself a P1907 bayonet for my collection too, and it's fun to see some content on RU-vid about them. Pretty gnarly looking bayonets with fascinating history. 👍
