Heavily recommend this rifle as an owner. The polymer made me kind of worried at first, but this rifle will run anything you put in it from my experience, not one malfunction caused by the gun, very accurate, easy to clean, all around a really fun reliable .22lr.
The only complaint I have ever heard is that the rear sight may come loose. That was from Paul Harrell may he rest in peace. We've had one for about a year. It is probably the easiest cleaning 22LR ever made. Runs any ammo we've put in it. Light enough for a kid to carry all day, solid enough to be reliable. Winchester mags have the last round hold open. Ruger mags do not. The manual says it may be dry fired. I'd buy one for a grandkid if they asked.
Hello mate, this is really fantastic! 💯 I'm also fond of air-powered weapons! I personally would like to see a comparison between this rimfire and a high-power Airgun pcp .22 cal. (such as an FX impact M3 or RTI prophet 2) to assess the accuracy and differences between these weapon systems as different as gunpowder and compressed air. There aren't many videos like that around, but I think it's very interesting stuff! Greetings from Italy!
Not sure what availability is like where you are, but Winchester is making a spacer for the stock to increase the length of pull as well as a cheek riser for the Wildcat and Xpert.
@@Chariotz4 I could possibly import the parts, but I have to get a permit for anything firearms related which is a pain in the ass, and I may not be given the permit. A firearms store could do it for me, but then it’ll be double the price.
@@bendoingthing Sad to hear about that for piece of plastic furniture. It's likely not as bad in terms of the financial hit, but up here in Canada it's usually a similar situation with accessories being harder to find for anything beyond the major companies' offerings and there's usually an upcharge beyond the currency conversion due to the time and expense of having them brought in.
I love my Ruger 10-22 Made in the USA (1967 ). I do not want a plastic TurkeyChester ! Winchester started making these things in USSR first and then moved to Turkey. I boycotted Winchester years ago win they left the USA. I do not want the junk they make now. Made in the USA or keep it ! BOYCOT TurkeyChester !
was slightly interested. went to the gun shop and looked at it. looks like a cheap childs toy. not interested anymore. and RU-vid Paul, the gun guy, ended his review of it by shooting it with another firearm. plastic rails, peep hole sight that falls apart. case closed for me.
