I’ve used the Peter Roth brand and I too have deep bags and it works. Yes there’s a tiny like film but I found if I dab a little makeup on outer edges it works looks great 👍🏼
New subscriber here Love ur real video.❤❤❤❤ Thanks for real super honest review. ❤❤❤❤❤ It helps alot to choose whats best.. Much love from Philippines. Mabuhay❤❤❤ Godblessu
Very obvious, the TR was the winner. Just recently I began using my "quicker picker up er" Thomas Ross. I have been playing around with what others suggest on the order of make-up, eyes 1st, or what have you. I have a very oily based make-up. I put my concealers on first even the contour colors for cheeks. I then lightly apply the skin tone matched make-up, then on top is the TR and amazingly it, still tightens the bags under the eyes and at 70 they are double the size they were when I was 40ish. It worked so well and the slight film left usually behind, disappeared with the make up. On top of primers everything, it still works, at least for me. Hope you can experiment with after make-up and skin creams. Good video and it's fun and inspiring, seeing real life results.
Thanks for your review. I've tried both and countless other brands. I didn't care for PTR because it dries out my eyes, leaves a white cast and feels itchy. I find the It is less drying and works if you need to apply an extra after the first dries. But it lasts a long time. However it's a pain to get it off. I use a cleansing oil/olive oil and let it sit a few minutes.
I have had great success with the PTR putting it on OVER my eye makeup and creams, and I really goop them on. The trick is to let it all absorb for 30 -45 minutes then apply PTR sparingly. Works and lasts a good 6 hours.
You have to use the It OVER your skin care and makeup. Usually I apply two light layers, letting them dry in between. I get awesome results, without too much tightness, without dehydrating my eye area, without that white resideue, which, say what you want, is very hard to remove, at least completely. The It Cosmetics version looks more natural, and lasts till you take it off. Maybe results are different depending on your foundation and sunscreen or other undereye products you use, but I’ve been able to make it work with everything. Far superior to the PTR FirmX. And, you can still wear sunscreen under it.
@@geslinam9703 Good to know that you get even better results with the IT version. And yes, tighteners work really well when applied OVER all creams and makeup, in spite of what the directions say. The only caveat is to let it all sink in well first.
Such a great video! And thanks for doing the after video because that's where the difference REALLY shows. Good to know that it isn't a "miracle" product because of the applying make up on top of the product issue. Still going to try the PTR product but with more realistic expectations. Thank you!
Have those eye bags removed by an experienced/skilled surgeon who specializes in those things. It doesn’t cost that much. My friend tried everything; nothing worked until she had them removed.
Im glad u did the switch i did recon that left was worst i wondered y u didnt use ptr on both . Tnx for the refo my bags looks like your left eyes . Idk if my puffiness is fat pad or water i tried PTR firmx very disappointed. Cleanface use qtip for application . With the grayish cast i have to clean it off . My bags did not disappear I will keep watching vids for solution youtubers are creative.
I've used Instantly Ageless eye cream and it worked fantastically for me, but I don't wear makeup, so I can't say it doesn't interfere with that. Unfortunately, Instantly Ageless isn't made anymore by Jeunesse anymore, and I don't know why. It works fine over oil free moisturizer.
What a brilliant review, thank you! You really have answered all of my questions, what a pleasant relief to find someone like you! I have now subscribed. Much Love from England and thanks for saving me some £'s xxx
I’m curious if you could give me any insight - I’m very, very fair skinned… nearly like a ghost in the winter. Do you think that would leave a cast on me?
I think it may. It has the slightest yellow tint and can look a little flakey, but I think the results are worth it. One of my subscribers said that she uses a little bit of translucent powder to set it around the edges and that works for her. I haven't tried that yet but it may be worth a shot.
The it cosmetics brand makes two staples in my makeup collection - the “love is the foundation” brush and the bye bye under eye concealer. Nothing else compares to that! I just heard Johnny Harris talk about a drug store “supe” I can’t recall what it is off the top but I would be surprised if it was close. I have had the Peter T.Product in my cabinet since the Ulta Days of Beauty sale in March but I have not tried it. I hope you like it enough for me to try it!😊
There's something I heard when you use powder makeup when you're over 40 it it kind of like doesn't look right it makes it look worse but I don't know also if you have bags under your eyes putting eyeliner on the bottom lid that makes a notice more just on the top and not work but on the bottom I'm thinking it's better not to put on
Thank you Melinda. I have heard that about powder makeup as well and I do feel like powder can look really bad in lines and wrinkles. I prefer cream products myself, but do like some powder blushes and bronzers. I stick to cream or liquid foundations though.
Rapid plexaderm it work for me I have deep lines on my mouth on my forehead and it works you can put makeup also they have a a trial 2 test before you buy it that's pretty good look it up and try it I think it's good and I have deep lines on my forehead also remind my mouth MVD low the eyes if you have bags it take the bags away it's like a miracle for me and today I'm trying that Peter Thomas Roth had no results on me
This has got to be THE most detailed and realest result and comparison video on these eye creams ! Very much appreciated ! I just got my Peter Thomas Roth delivered. Can’t wait to try ☺️☺️🙌🏼
Thank you, I'm glad you found it helpful! I hope you like using the Peter Thomas Roth. The other day a viewer mentioned that if you just set it with a little powder she has better results than if she puts makeup right on top of it. I hope that helps!
I have some success using a loose powder over the Phillip Thomas Roth product. As you mentioned, any moisture or concealer product at all completely obliterates the good effect of the Peter Thomas Roth product. However, It seems it can tolerate the powder if like me, someone needs a bit of a brightening effect too. Thanks for the review- saved me the money of buying the It product!
