Hey, I hope you see this. I'm trying to replace the batteries in one of these exact models right now... I can't get the damn ground wire off the battery. Is there a trick to that bigger plastic plug, is it like a clip that I'm not noticing?
Ooh thx!! I'm rlly excited to try this because I'm gonna look for chromebooks at goodwills and garage sales so I don't have to use my school one (I don't wanna ruin it 😭)
I had a box fan a little bit ago. I was trying to work on it to get it to work. I was on successful. I don’t know if I ever get another I had a couple attempts to get it to go, but it didn’t work out. No not so great. but I tried. The motor was very bad. I think it’s just tired and worn out. I tried to get the blades off, but I could not. I got the covers off. See what I could do. Nothing turned out every time I would give it a go the motor would heat up. Hot I got rid of it now it’s just expensive to get a box fan as it is to repair a box fan talking about major money
If you have vacuum on the black line just use a jumper tuning from the black line to the other lines or colors. you don't need to use the pumper every time .
Not sure how the Dell model numbers work - I had a GX520 as my first laptop then got a 360 - it didn't have that BIOS but was shipped in 2009 with the same case and a C2D - I assume because it was a lower class model for the year.
You know, you could always look into a Toyota Tundra, as long as it has the V8 engine and no touchscreen or any of that fancy bullcrap. Just offering you a suggestion in case your current driver gets eaten by rust.
As best I remember, it was just a plug in connector with a locking clip to keep it in place. There should be a tab you can press to release it, unless someone broke it. Then you might have to get creative (with something like a small bladed screwdriver).
@@uxwbill thanks for the quick reply (especially since you uploaded this 13 yrs ago! i'll have to take another look and give it a try. i was messing with this a couple of days ago and tried both pressing and lifting the tab but couldn't seem to get it unplugged, so i gave up as i didn't want to take a chance on breaking it since i wasn't sure.
@1:57 Close, it was used to program the GE Series Six PLC. Did yours come with an odd card sporting two boards and a 37 pin connector? (known as a WSI, or "Wussy" card), but it could program their 90-30 and 90-70 PLCs too. I noticed that your WSI card was missing, so it might have been used for the Series 90 PLCs. No robotics programming with these unless you loaded your own software. So even though Fanuc is a robotics company (and uses a variation of the GE 90-30 cards in their robots), the WorkMaster wasn't used for that. I recently bought a GE WorkMaster (or "WorkMaker" as we used to call them) in the P70 form. Basically just for the MCA buss. Getting the darn thing to work has been a challenge. Waiting on Goteks and floppy adapters at the moment. :) The software that came on the WM would be "LogicMaster 6", or "LM6". To get it to run you would have to add ansi.sys, and files to config.sys.
Me and my dad put an alternator a 99 GMC Sierra. The replacement was dead shorted (0 ohms). We very rapidly pulled the battery cable back off initially confused.
Thanks good intro to the recovery pliers. After doing thousands of refrigerant recoveries, I’ll make a few comments. They are a good tool and work well. Before clamping on, I adjust the plier with the adjustable screw/bolt so that the needle doesn’t bottom out in the jaw. They do not work well on anything smaller than 3/8 inch tubing. Only use them on copper or aluminum…a steel line will damage the piercing needle. If refrigerant is leaking past the gasket, quickly tighten the screw to attempt a better seal. Leaking refrigerant freezes the rubber gasket and it will crack if clamped tighter while frozen. Gaskets and replacement tips are available. There is another brand that uses a similar vise grip style but a much smaller tip and different gasket. It works well on 1/4 inch tubing. I use the pliers for recovery and repairs to access a closed system, install a small access stem, do the repair and solder the hole shut. Thanks again!
Just noticed that this truck has a transmission temp gauge on the cluster when it did not in previous videos. Did you swap a 2500/3500 HD cluster into yours?
It had a lot of problems. Rust, a cracked engine block and substantial body damage done when a motorcyclist t-boned it. The Grand Voyager was a sort of replacement for it.
These actually sound pretty good because they’re not full of junk on the circuit boards. Everything is nicely and simply laid out. The heat sink is pretty good for the power I think. The only thing I don’t like about these is that the transformer is quite small. There is no way these can put out 100 W continuously, I don’t know how Sherwood gets their ratings, it’s not a consistent power output for sure. I have seen much smaller receivers with the same power supplies that are in 30 to 40 W per channel max if that. So that’s a disappointment, but you get what you paid for. Also can’t run Speakers lower than eight ohms so that’s another thing that suggested the power supply is quite wimpy.
You need to verify that the replacement microprocessor is supported and undamaged. A05 was the last BIOS released. It must be installed prior to upgrading the CPU.
I was in the second grade living in New Hampshire. Did they started out normal? And I went to school for 830 something were slightly different because I wasn’t even eight years old yet I listen to audiobook in the listening Center then we had snack and recess. When we got back into the classroom, the assistant teacher rang the bell that was on the desk and got us to the circle. Her tone of voice was troubling, but she didn’t really stay. What happened? We continue on with the day then class we learned a patriotic song because we had to do that during the pledge of allegiance for the next four years I was in elementary school At the end of the day, my mom picks me up for my dentist appointment in the waiting room, the news was on and Vento Assistance said lots of news today the dentist talks about his recent trip to visit family in Florida and how his rental car broke down Then I go home after my dad is home we are watching the news and then it’s brought up that planes crashed into buildings in New York. Then President Bush returned to the White House The next day at school, one of the girls in my class who got picked up when I went to the dentist was supposed to go to Texas and they couldn’t go because of the planes At circle time my teacher debriefs what happened the day before in New York, Washington and Pennsylvania
Another point when you unhook the alternator your pcm will take a day or two to relearn the system also gm has 6 or 8 grounds that go bad from corrosion and age under hood and frame that will drive you crazy!
Check your belt tensioner pully they go out on gms frequently. Also inside your alternator there is a diode trio that controls charging output. A rebuild kit was 20.00 the last time I did one. It had the bearings, brushes and diode trio. Good luck.
I took the old alternator apart out of curiosity. There were six diodes. Those I tested were still good. The brushes were quite worn, yet they still had plenty of material left. When turned by hand at least, I can't hear or feel any lack of smoothness in the bearings. There's what looks like some kind of solid state device under a large heatsink. I'd guess it's some kind of regulation, and my thought is that it may be the entire problem. I do plan to put a megohmmeter across the windings and see if they are still good.
@@uxwbill yes, that device you found came in the kits also takes the place of an old fashion regulator and they fail from heat and age. That slipped my mind being old also 😊
Not more than what you see in the video. I ended up needing the hard drive for another project, and the heat sink on the processor complex for its second voltage regulator needs a substantial rework.
You’re a complaining muthafucka, grow up already, if you’re gonna review a product then review, nobody wants to hear you complaining about restocking fees and all your other bullshit
if you look up the song HEaven says. wich is not a song about heaven at all. but its a really cool song. anyways. the lyrics were sung using the speak & spell in the middle
surprisingly that computer's younger than me. from the sticker i thought it'd be at least 1 year older. my first pc was an optiplex with the next gen design and a p4 ht and it was from 2006... hugely more modern
It's nice to see a vehicle stay on the road for hundreds of thousands of miles without any serious faults. Will you keep driving it until it is no longer economical to do so?
Thanks for the review, I'm trying to decide on anew fridge and I decently want the freezer on the bottom I'm to old to get on my hands and knees to look for stuff on the bottom rack not to mention hitting my head on the freezer door handle when i straighten up
