Hii Janishsamani........ It's not opposite.... It's actual as per global and Six sigma guidelines also proved from calculation. I know why u are saying... Because in few industry they are considering Pp/Ppk as preliminary process capability and Cp/Cpk as long term process capability. So, it's an industry to industry understanding variations but global standard and six sigma standard will be fix Okay.
And one more point Cp/Cpk is for only one complete lot but Pp/Ppk is for lot to lot, process to process variation. Once think... Cp is capability of the process whereas Pp is performance of the process Which one can be long term??
Hii @viradrokade1040 See consider tolerance only...... because instrument selection is based on the tolerance or process behavior for accurate measurement.... As per your question tolerance is +/- 0.5mm Total tolerance=0.10 mm As per 1/10 rule = total tolerance/10 =0.10/10 = 0.01mm Here, you have to select the instrument which is having the least count equal or less than 0.01mm...then only u can capture process behavior... If Sometimes like in automotive sector tolerance is +/- 0.005mm Here total tolerance is= 0.010mm 1/10 rule = total tolerance/10 = 0.010/10 = 0.001mm Here you can not use vernier caliper or other instrument which is having least count like 0.01mm, 0.02mm, 0.002mm, 0.005mm. You have to use only the instruments which are having least count equal or less than 0.001mm.
There is no need to think about unilateral or bilateral........ Because we have to consider total tolerance only........ like bilateral example already given in earlier comment same..... For unilateral Suppose tolerance is +0.005/-0.000 mm Then total tolerance is = 0.005mm 1/10 rule = 0.005/10 = 0.0005mm Here, you have to select the instrument which is having least count equal or less than 0.0005mm (0.5 micron)
Hii.... Yes, Why not ... We can check with MFI tester also but results will not be stable and it will be harmful for equipment also because of fiber is not there in homogenous mixing and it's having adhesive property.... Therefore, we have to use capillary Rheology Method to check flow property of glass filled Nylon
If u want for variable SPC, then actually some times it is based on customer requirements for no of sample like 80 or 125.....for standard SPC we have to collect 125 pcs in 25 subgroups at the time interval of 2 hr (can select time as per your process length)
After collection of sample measure any dimension or other parameter for which u want to do analysis and directly paste data into SPC standard format...........SPC is always mandatory for critical dimensions..........
"Six Sigma Champions are con men" “All you have is smoke and mirrors” - Creator of Six Sigma, Mikel Harry 91 % of Six Sigma companies have trailed the S&P 500 (Qualpro survey). Six Sigma’s once best reference, GE, has thrown the trash out. An 8 yr study at Ford showed an average of 1 in 5 parts defective AFTER improvement for “successful” Six Sigma projects. Six Sigma is a destructive scam based on pure farce. Six Sigma was laughably based on the height of a stack of discs! Most folk never bothered to check. EVERY aspect of Six Sigma is worthless, from its normalization nonsense, to its irrelevant enumerative methods, to its paralytic DMAIC. Dr Wheeler, the world’s leading process statistician, calls Six Sigma “GOOFY” and the stuff of “the tooth fairy”.. CBS calls it the most stupid fad of all time. There is never justification to stray from the giants of Quality Dr Shewhart, Professor Ishikawa, Professor Lewis, Professor Deming, Dr Taguchi and Dr Wheeler, for the lunacy of Six Sigma’s con man. How the Six Sigma fraud was started: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0kZbJLHK_4M.html Lean was tacked on to prolong the Six Sigma Scam. 98% of LSS implementations FAIL (IW survey)
Hllo Dr. Tony Burns 1. See you are saying creator of six sigma is Mikel Harry......... Actually in the reality, both (Mr Bill Smith & Mr Mikel Harry) was involved in creation of Six Sigma. .But finally Mr Bill Smith introduced properly to that. So, Mr. Bill Smith is known as father of Six Sigma. So, Baldrige Award was also for him. Like W. A. Shewhart also was there in creation of PDCA cycle and that time it's name was PDSA. But again properly define by Dr. Edward Deming as PDCA. So, father of PDCA is Dr Edward Deming. 2. If process bottom team is giving proper and SMART data with proper communication then I am sure that project will success. 3. Other things are Six Sigma is a big step........ Applicable for both attributes and variable You can see link with Cpk, Ppk, PPM And about shifting of sigma value..... See if you are analysing sample based but during that if you want to go on complete population parameter then 1.5 sigma will shift. 4. Six sigma projects commence when we don't know that in which way you have to go...... I hope you understood........ If you want futher discussion then msg me on whatsApp..... +918191046829
@@VasudevSingh97 I'll bet you haven't even read Mr Smith's only paper. Such a farce. He had an out-of-control molding process, because he tampered with it. It happened to drift "as much as +/-1.5sigma". He stupidly claimed that broadening the spec limits would improve quality. Smith's buddy, Harry then "proved" all processes were wildly out of control BASED ON THE HEIGHT OF A STACK OF DISCS! Pure farce. SUCH a SCAM!
