This channel is to show the world how automotive enthusiast life style is about from building cars, racing, and rebuilding them again. Also going to car meets and showing off your work with other enthusiast. Its a crazy fun ride you are gonna wanna be apart of. Especially with my wife and friends. They are out of this world!
Current car I am working on is a 2003 Lexus IS300 NA-T (Drift car) My wife's is a 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 (Show car/Drag car) Reda's car is a 2003 Mustang New Edge with a big build in the future (Show car/Drag car)
Awesome video! We're hosting a truck show in Warsaw, NC on June 8th, 2024 from 9-5pm and I was wondering if you would be interested in coming and shooting a video of the event. Just let me know. Thanks and great work!
@@tdl_racing thanks for the reply ..really like this build now I believe it’s possible.. I hear a lot of pple say u need to change rods an stuff asap..now I have faith in a build like this until I could upgrade internals …awesome vid bro keep it up 👍🏼🙏
@@spike46 yeah I mean if you are just trying to be a little faster than a stock supra. I would definitely build internals. It's just a lit more money and time. I have more videos we're I did build it.
@@spike46 stock ge rods and pistons usually give out between 400-500hp but if you’re worried about reliability you can put in gte rods and pistons and hold around 650. Though if you’re going for power you’ll need an r154 trans or ball out and do a t56 swap, but that’s a lot more $$$.
People please realize the bottom end components ARE NOT the same as a 2JZGTE. The rods on the vvti ge are spaghetti noodles compared to the rods in the GTE and the NON vvti ge. The pistons in the GTE also have big vavle reliefs in them effectively helping the compression down to 8.5:1. 400ish whp on a ge vvti bottom end with a proper E85 tune is safe. You WILL bend the rods if you try to make 450+!!!
I know. This wasn't my first build. I've done it and tested it a couple times to know the capabilities. All the ones I've built have taken 400 to 450hp no more than that. I have tested it out putting more boost if you watched the other videos. It didn't end up well. Yes the rods are like noodles. 👍
You need to check out BLKJESUS, he's running over 500whp on a vvti GE engine. Might want to rethink the 400whp stuff. He's proven everyone wrong. He's sold it but he was ripping it with 250k on the engine with a w58 manual trans and two piggybacks. The saving grace with our VVTI GE engines are the bigger exhaust valves, and a good tune.
@@nickadkins7765 as they don't last, we still don't know how long, he had thousands of miles on it before he parted the car out for his new child. He works near me and did all his own work. It was quite impressive. The transmission he had was rated by internet folk for only 450whp as well. Folks even called him out on it and he proved them wrong. I believe he's on one of his videos calling out a guy for saying he could get xyz for power. The point is, this was a high mileage build and he beat on it with that power. It was all in the tune and how he set his up. So it's possible, we just don't how long it will last, because it didn't fail to get better data.
Might have been easier to pull the pin and add the cable to the pin instead. That's my plan, but good video for those that do not have the tools or the ability to depin and pin.
@@tdl_racing what size was this hole saw having issues finding a set for fiberglass cutting just going to buy a pilot and hole saw bit wondering what size you used
@@tdl_racing oh shit thats a good deal. Cant pass up on that for sure. Looking at my options as I got a 750 for cheap to learn but will need to get wideband and all that sorted first. So did you have a wideband from aem first and just intercept the signal going from the O2 to the gauge for ecu feed? Thanks for the reply.
Alot of millennial ignorance here. I hope someone else is building this. Did you or daddy pay for this stuff, hate to see it all get destroyed because y'all are pros. Good luck.
Hi. I newly interest with automotive I am amaze with your buildm congrats 👍 By the way. I still don't really get a point. Why some engine could go up to 500++ hp some other just below it. Even with higher CC
