My 03' 1800R is bone-stock and it rocks my world, i can't even imagine another 40 horsepower. That's got to be absolutely evil when you pour the coal to it. Thanks for the upload and sharing the footage of the bike. Awesome video.
Why use speed rather than a coil/tach signal? My 04R1 made 170 hp with speed reading and 159hp with tach signal hooked up. I like all the other info you gave in the video though.
@@stevejackson4067 the tach signal is only to record torque a DynoJet Dyno is a inertia based Dyno It doesn’t care what rpm you’re at if there was a power commander on the bike I would be happy to use rpm but I don’t like the induction clamp readings
Because they are lower? You absolutely need a tach signal for accuracy. You need to know the torque for the given rpm. Otherwise you end up with figures that are not correct…….. like i said 11 more hp on my 04 R1. Hp=torque*RPM/5252. Notice you need that rpm number in there!
In most tuning graphs i have seen, power is much better overal but torque is practically destroyed in low rpm. Does that mean the engine will start jerking/stalling 1K rpm higher, as the dynojet graphs suggest?
Nice, a full custom map will see 165 rear wheel, or more than a stock early busa makes. Monstrous V4 motor. Also gotta remember this os through a shaft that sucks more power away from the rear tyre.
@@mirkolo4703 gp termi exhaust and tuned per cylinder with Woolich total tuning time for gas, E85, and methanol was 3days and about 100pulls We also did a shaved oil pan
