The real OGs (Before the military) know Luc as "Rusty" cuz that man's lock's put up a fierce competition next to any grade A rust you can find out in the real world! Straight up tho man, I truly enjoyed watching this interview and getting and inside look at the journey you've been on through out this life. Can't say enough about your family and all of the things that have made you into the badass you are (and always have been). If you're ever out at Put-In-Bay, hit me up brother 🤙My wife and I have a cool place over here where I play music in front of a bunch of drunk ass tourists all summer long (something I'm sure your wife and I would bond over) and we love having new and old friends come on out to experience and enjoy the island life with us! I'd love to catch up and see you again my friend, it brings me great joy to witness the success you've earned through out all these years. Also, not to toot my own horn or anything, BUT I was the ORIGINAL LUCAS on the travel soccer team before Rusty got there just sayin....😉 Much love my man🤙
Amazing podcast. Dash is one of the most inspirational people I have ever had the privilege of meeting. A never ending source of inspiration! Can't wait for the book.
Travis Ransdell was one of the best teachers I've ever had. He is has a high responsibility in my love of history and framed my view of the world growing up. I was a freshman in high school, Scottsdale AZ, 2013.
Thank you Kenny for such an amazing opportunity! You , Jordan and the rest of your team made me feel welcome and comfortable, and allowed me to be transparent and real. Outstanding working with you.
I have been looking up to John Toomey since I first showed up to ODU, sucking at bass so bad nearly 30 years ago. I loved watching and listening to him work with the Jazz Band which I was never good enough to keep up with the band. Trying for the past 2 years to pick my bass back up after being medically retired after 17 years in the military.
I hope you have kept at it with the bass in the last few months! We aren't musicians ourselves but definitely look up to Professor Toomey and his musical sensibilities. Thank you @GfnWiz for your service!
The United States Marine Corps does not actually eat crayons but they are obsessed with industrial crayons, paint markers, carpenters pencils, and grease pens. Mid ranking company grade officers use them to draw rectangular NATO symbology diagrams on various different types of walls and surfaces when nothing else is available. They promised that in addition to not smacking the piss out of me for making fun of them that they would show me how to do it ...
Ed will always stay blessed because of his generous spirit of blessing others, and his faithful tithing. I love his generosity and faith. 💚 This was such an awesome podcast! I love his back story too, thank you for sharing!
