Just a Welsh Introvert looking for something to keep his mind occupied and found the Joys of editing to be rather cathartic. so join me on my journey as I react to all things tv, movies, video games and more! I might not have the best reactions or edits but I'm learning and progressing as time goes on! and that's all part of the joy
Thank you anyone that views any of the content I produce, even if you hate it!

I'm Norwegian. Rewatching this with your commentary makes me realize how good all these setups are. Every joke has a perfect build up and pay off. Brilliant.
Well, also, they keep saying that Einstein invented the atomic bomb, but he had no part in the Manhattan project. So we can either say that the writers weren't that smart, or that Sliders Earth Prime is also not our world.
This is so cool, Josh! I think it's a real miracle to find a reaction to "Sliders" on RU-vid in this day and age. It's like watching your favorite TV series with someone else 😁 No one from my circle knew about this before meeting me. And I myself only learned about this series from my father. There are no such videos on Russian-language channels, only reviews. (I myself am a Russian speaker, so if anything happens, I apologize for any mistakes, since I don’t know English well and use a translator). I've already watched all your videos about "Sliders". It's a shame they only lasted until episode 1 of season 2. Sorry that I only watch these videos😅 I’m not familiar with other series at all. In any case, thank you very much for such work! Good luck with your other projects! P.s.: I know that perhaps no one will read this comment, but just in case, let it be here.
This would have been a good world for them to return to on a later episode and see what happened. Benish has nuclear power in the palm of his hand so what would he have done with it?
The justification used by the president of the US for the use of the atom bomb on Japan in WWII was that it would spare more American lives than a full on invasion of Japan. A full scale invasion would have lasted a long time and there was no guarantee it would have been successful. With how bloody the pacific theater of the war was, it is unsurprising that this logic was used. To be clear, I'm not agreeing with the logic. I'm just presenting an oversimplified view of history that I learned in public school, so I'm likely full of shit. My comment should not be taken as my view on the subject.
I started getting into this show. I really got hooked, but then season 3 started to go downhill and then by season 4 I started losing interest. I read that Fox sold it to the Sci-Fi network and they butchered the hell of it. It was still a good series, for the most part. When I first saw it, I thought it was an interesting concept. I like how they talk about Charles Darwin and his books and theories.
The second season is pretty comparable to this one. If you liked this you'll probably enjoy it. S3 is pretty lame - they basically just did movie ripoffs and it was bad. The studio really mucked with the show and here it started to show.
Yeah the tone of the show can be all over the place. With the prominence of long-form TV (or streaming) this would be a prime property to reinvigorate.
A couple of other 90's shows I'd recommend, even if you don't do a reaction, are The Adventures of Brisco County Jr. (starring Bruce Campbell) and Kindred: The Embraced. Both were only a single season, so you're not looking at too much. Kindred was canceled when the lead actor died in an accident between seasons. It's pretty short. Brisco is 20+ episodes, but unfortunately was not renewed after the first season. Side note, Lord Bowler would have made a perfect Bishop from X-Men.
The triumphant, happily ever after music where everything works out in the end after a fight lasting 0.5 seconds where an innocent man gets sliced in half due to most unfair and insane laws in history 😂
I always wondered what English speaking people thought of the enhanced Norwegian-English accent. They are speaking English words but are pronouncing the sentences exactly like they are in Norwegian. 😅 Not easy to do consistently across the series.
This is the episode I remember watching when I was young and that blew me ayway. I was intrigued by both the mystery/thriller aspect of it as well as the philosophical aspect. I knew enough of the basic concept of the show but so far all the episodes I had caught on TV were quite lighthearted or evene comic, in this episode however I realized how serious they could get. That episode completely sold me.
They really did a good job with the "music producer" by having her be kind of attractive but kind of disgusting at the same time. The cliché lines and the jock attitude really sold it. The actress nailed that one.
The spider-wasp news has to be the funniest bit in this episode. "You'd have to be an idiot to stay in San Francisco at this time ... ... Failed experiment .... path of death and destruction "Let's go inside!" "... eats through wallls with ease..." Love the obviousness of the joke
3rd season is a prequel to the series. I bet that it was a way to appease the audience after killing off a few beloved characters. This way they could be brought back for another season.
