The reason for the Mandalorien episodes is because Robert Rodriguez (normally a great director) was put in charge and he cocked up episodes 5 and 6 forcing John Favreau to jump in and rework the final episode to accomodate the insertion of episodes from the Mandalorian season 3. We were supposed to get something else entirely with more badassery from Boba like his appearance on the Mandalorian.

Grogu is still a child but was born one year before Luke's father was born and ages about 1 human year every 10 years. He probably began his training at the jedi Temple shortly after the time of The Phantom Menace around the same time Luke's father began his Jedi training. That gives Grogu about 12 to 13 years of training and a 28 year gap until training with Luke.

Star Wars Fans open their arms to anyone. if we seem intimidating to anyone it's because we want to share their connection to it and we get extra passionate. But we have been savagely misrepresented by producer Kathleen Kennedy, director Rian Johnson and Pablo Hidalgo from the story group. These started the whole "Toxic Fandom" crap when the OG fans pointed out the failings of the sequel trilogy. They declared war on us with quotes like "The Force is Female", and "Your Snoke theory sucks!" They got themselves all twisted up when we called out their desecration of the franchise. Their response was we did it because we don't want you as fans we want an all girl fan base. Which is some kind of weird cringe because Star Wars had always been for everyone. It's just finding the right entry point that's tricky.

I can tell by your commentary that you are more lost than you think you are and still am impressed that you understand it as well as you do. But I'll give some essential insight that will clear a lot of confusion just like Clark Kent is Superman, Shiv Palpatine is Darth Sideous, and Count Dooku is Darth Tyrannus. Some people pick it up right away but those who do not, are often confused until the reveal in the Revenge of the Sith are confused by the behind the scenes string pulling in the phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones and miss the impact on the entire galaxy. Most people are unfortunately spoiled on most epic reveal in cinematic history from the Empire Strikes Back. But you can't even comprehend episodes I-III without knowing it. I have watched reactor after reactor fail to get it even when Palpatine declares himself Emperor and complain about their confusion. It just breaks my heart when people can't connect the dots and truly absorb what they have just seen. It's almost a religeous experience.
