Very nice video. Can you give us a update vid on how its preforming a year later. Oh two bits of advice you really can do without the thread sealer (yellow paste) as it does exactly the same thing as the Teflon tape lubricates the threads and seals them. second if you warm your hose with something like a hair dryer on medium or even low heat it will expand enough to go over your barbed fittings and will shrink back down to size when they cool.
Thanks for the advice!! Quick little update for the DIY tire inflator/deflator; I changed my set-up for my rig. I built an internal inflator/deflator system due to downsizing gear. With my new system, I don’t have to lug around the hoses in the back or roof rack. I do still bring it for my buddy’s to use. Still works great and no air leaks.
NIIICE! I built my own simple hose setup that's only a single tire at a time (for my UTV) and I also added a "Nigo Industrial Co. Air Brake Air Tank Drain Cock Ground Plug Shutoff" so I can deflate the tire without having to connect or disconnect any fittings. I also used a Longacre gauge because I read they were very accurate. I keep learning about new ideas all the time. The absolute biggest benefit of creating my own hose/fittings setup is the ability to inflate/deflate my tires without having to turn the air compressor off, walking over to the tire to check the resting PSI, then walking back to the air compressor and turning it back on.
