The Mix with the Masters program offers the unique opportunity to work closely with the world’s top music mixers, producers and engineers and to improve one's skills in music production. Since its successful debut in 2010, it has hosted over 1000 participants and 100 seminars.
In addition to these seminars, Mix with the Masters has launched an exclusive online community for Engineers and Producers, offering an incredible array of exclusive online services, enabling its members to discover the approaches and techniques of A-list music mixers and producers. You can now become a member to get an unlimited access to hundreds of videos, and to take advantage of our unique online services such as Webinars, One-Day Seminars, and much more.
The process of greatness fostering greatness has long been recognized, and is the reason why master classes are organized. The Mix with the Masters Program is proud to be part of this tradition, both through our online community and weeklong seminars.
oh you did that joint with j#@_&es bros... Smiling that harmony in the middle of the song took me back to.Devante and Dalvin days .... Really slick work smiling!
I disagree. Scenario 1: Person stuck in a dead-end job who is average at mixing declares he will never work for free and turns down hundreds of opportunities to practice and get better. 10 years later he's been paid 8 times a low amount to do mixes and has improved slightly over time. Scenario 2: Person stuck in the same dead-end job who is average at mixing agrees to do one free mix a week for the right project. Every week he gets better and better at his craft and widens his networking community. After 5 years he has finally learned enough that he can start charging confidently because he knows he's now a level above non-professionals. He got there through lots and lots of practice that he wouldn't have had access to if he had rigidly stuck to the no-pay principal.
It's easy to talk about rigid principles like this when you're already getting paid well in your craft. It's probably hard for people like that to conceptualise that for every one person who manages to make a living out of sound engineering there are 100 who try and don't manage it.
EQ her vocal going in using a Neve 1073, only after if you need to but you should not need to because you did it right tha first time :) SSL is a toy that everyone uses because of monkey see monkey do. Only reason why tha first monkey got an SSL is because it is cheap and has so -called everything in it.
Looking through a bunch of tutorials of guys trying to convince me that their eq is doing anything worth noting in logic. I saw this guy using ProTools and I knew he knew what he was talking about straight away. Couldn't believe this was actually mixing the og song!
as i’m in. school for Recording Arts at Full Sail University, it definitely is inspiring to watch these videos! I watched too way before I started school, but wow it’s definitely sooooo SO much to learn..extremelyy technical (which I knew obviously, but even wayy more) & just a lot to take in & remember. I remember the first time looking & working on Logic..I was like omgg this looks very confusing omgg but slowly getting there lol only been a few months in 🫶🏼🤍
I gotta say I appreciated the summer time giving me the opportunity to watch this entire video at 3 in the morning last week. I'm a band director so this stuff is priceless info. I gotta get that MWTM subscription.
