This is where I will post videos regarding my trucks, forestry mulching, and other adventures.
Typically we only buy diesel trucks... currently I have a 2011 Ford F-450 and 2013 Ford F-250.

I own a land and tree business that does land clearing, forestry mulching, and tree work so you will see that on here as well. That is what pays for the channel currently. The goal is to grow this channel so that it is self sufficient and at that point you will see the builds speed up.
He says, "they dont usually stick around too long" - about one of the most reliable diesel pickup truck engines ever produced, regularly seeing over 400k miles with proper maintenance.
ZF trans was the only way to go on these old rigs. Autos on the 6.0 and later are pretty good but those old 4 speed slush boxes just ain’t up to the task by todays standards.
ALWAYS CONNECT CHARGER AS 1ST STEP,turn off all climate fan heated seat stereo lights and after that you can SAFELY flash, program your vehicle.. Low VOLTAGE or FLUCTUATIONS IN VOLTAGE during ecu writing catastrophic failure to ecm and even if you would NOTICE by the time you get your battery charger and on the truck connected and powered up...TOO LATE.. ps Race tune is the fastest way to grind away your bearings and might just blow up your high pressure fuel pump b4 even bottom end failure.. i enjoy Tow tune.. anything else needs more fuel supply 1st of..
Check with ford co. Near you because my truck was acting the same come to find out for certain year ford made an additive that goes in the rear diff and transmission and if it’s not added it will feel like a hard shift
*What you guys need to do is invent a simple and easy mechanism to make the net lift up about a foot above the ground when the cage is not in use.* *I put a 70 feet cage in my backyard and the freaking squirrels, who are curious by nature and may look for food or whatnot, started chewing the net and made holes in it at various points to get in.* *I think the best solution would be to be able to lift entire net above the ground by about a foot when the cage is not in use - so that these pesky squirrels don't any obstruction in their traffic.*
Same question I do have a 03 f350 with the crappie auto transmission in it and wondering if I can swapped out to the zf6 out of 08-10 6.4 transmission In to my 7.3 diesel?
Hey I know this is a older truck. But do you have any knowledge of doing a manual swap on a 2008-2010 6.4? I'm sure they'll be similar just possibly more electronics Thanks!
For starters I’d upgrade to a secondary trans cooler but the trans on this was $3500ish. Full swap would be around 5000 I bet if you do the labor yourself
@@BALDEAGLEDIESEL I did a secondary BD diesel cooler, a Mishimoto 6.0L Trans cooler, a mag hi tech pan and a completely rebuilt 4R100. Still overheats...
@@BALDEAGLEDIESEL probably do a gear vendor overdrive when I have it rebuilt again. My mechanic recommended a manual torque converter as well. I would like to have a manual, but the 4R100 is probably the way to go with the amount of accessories I have already added. DESTROKED can drop in a 6 speed Allison for $16k, but that's a lot of $$$ for a 2002 truck...gearing wise is whatever came stock in a 2002 F350.
Trans is good. The guy who bought the truck from me still runs it everyday with a gooseneck behind it every day. Put a second one and a transfer case in a 450 we picked up and it runs grwat
Na. That truck got sold. Offer I couldn’t refuse. New 450 I just picked up has 4.33 and I love that ratio. The 2020 has 3.53 which is nice but has a ten speed.
@@BALDEAGLEDIESEL Thanks man. They said mine was preloaded but when I went to check in the updater it just said tow, heavy tow, street, race, sotf in the on device screen. I was wondering if that means it was tuned already since they didn't have special file names on them.
