Another solid video, Just straight to the point with everything! We released a portable air pump. Can we invite you to do a review? We have reached out to for an inquiry
you may find out that those type of cv's won't have enough travel for the extreme angle you have on your axles. if you don't you will have to go to the non-plunging type 930 cv they have quite a bit more travel and are stronger because of that. AS far as I know they can only be purchased from RCV. They are around 300.00 dollars each.
I suspect he might be using both telescopic shaft and the plunge CVs to get that articulation. Doubtless he's already done the math for all this, plunge and flex
Some people call you dude. Great video I can fix the brake line. I only have one trailer will never need a power lbleeder so I will probably take it in for that after I fix the brake line unless you have any other suggestion.
With 2 people you can bleed these without a power bleeder. I used a prybar stuck into the safety chain to compress the tongue while someone else cracks the bleeder. Its an awkward motion but only takes a few pumps to bleed 1 wheel fully. Also you can use the emergency lever for this task depending on the design of your hydraulic coupler. Mine has a plate that locks the brakes on so I remove that plate and use the lever to pump them. Then reinstall plate. Good luck you got this!
Forget aluminum wheels. Get a set of stainless steel wheel simulators and keep the stock wheels. Just had a flat on the front of my Chevy 3500. That's a lot of fun taking a rear wheel off to swap on the front by the side of the interstate with traffic flying by at 70 mph.
Thats strange man. Id pull the rocker cover off and make sure a valve isnt stuck open. Ive seen that before (A shim fell out and got jammed after a backfire). I would think checking the oil while running is a coincidence.
It’s so cool that 2 of your very different interests (bagged out dozer and milling equipment) align so well. What a fulfilling project and accomplishment.
Well that didn't take too long to sort out ended up being a bad fuel line above the fuel cooler where the flex line from the feed side of the fuel tank meets the steel line 👍
I made it from a craftsman box I got from the trash. Check it out it works sweet. I built a custom toolbox for my flatbed from SCRAP JUNK ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_ASgTfeYCyw.html
I know you probably won't read this but if you do I'd like you to know my week has been long, my plans were to watch the idiot box for the evenin, I opened youtube and saw your video, I ended watching through the entire video series of the dozer blade repair as I found it so enjoyable wau too much binging but oh so worh it, you now have a new subscriber
My GOD, you bought that from McMaster!!?? That must have been a chunk of change. I found a 8" shell mill with 12 new inserts for 50$ shipped, I just have to make an arbor for it that uses an R8 collet. Nice work, came out pretty awesome!!
Yeah you certainly pay for convenience with McSpankster. But all in I think it was less than 200 bucks said and done. I have gotten my money back on this with the first 2 jobs
You and I would be the best of friends. From the Natty Ice, to your shop, to the tools and parts everywhere, the Bridgeport, lathe etc, we are very much alike 😂 H & W seems to be on the high end, but they do have everything and make some great How - To videos. I think my motor died tonight, I'm not happy; but the auto feed hasn't worked for aabout a year so I guess it's time to fix it all at once. I use my mill 75% of the time I'm in my shop so I need it.
Great job...I enjoyed watching all you did...it was obvious you knew what you had to do, knew how to do it and had what to do it with...some of it reminded of my shade tree days before I became a mechanic in the US Air Force with the last aircraft being the B-52...
