Had 93 kx80 big wheel just like that I have had 125s 250s and a CRF 450. I think the kx and the 450 were probably my favorite bikes I would by a 112 now just to have they are a lot of fun, and can't forget the 94 CR125 that bike barked fastest 125 ever stuck to the corners like glue
Depends your riding style, how to warm up properly.. piston last 5-50hrs (im riding just for fun) braaps, coldstarts, soundchecks.. Enjoy your Kawi.. I love my KX80
I recently got a kx80 and In my opinion it’s a perfect bike with plenty of power. I’m 5’6 and 130lbs and it’s plenty of bike for me. I had a kx250 2 stroke and could barely use the throttle without killing myself. 😂

Man, i recently picked up my friends old 97 kx 100 for 200 bucks, gotta do the top end, but i cant wait ti hear it scream. Also, my second bike was an 97 rm 80, and i really need to get that thing screaming again too, although i think it needs a little more than just the topend. Sick bike tho!!
Oh i remember that sound and feeling from 1986 , ive seen growen men who claim to know how to ride get throwen off a KX 80 3 times in a row when that power band cuts in ! Lol
