Last story. I was just the hospital for 11 days in April for pancreatitus. Mine was caused by gaul stones. But it turned me into a diabetic because of it. My father had to literally carry me downstairs before calling 911 cause I had 0 strength and 0 idea what was going on. I've lost 36 ish hours of memory around then but somehow survived a blood sugar level of 2871. When normal is like 70-140. That shits serious! And my diagnosis was that, pancreatitus. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. 8 days in icu and 3 in normal hospital. It literally changed my life instantly! All cause of a gall stone caught in a duct, preventing the pancreas from functioning and it swelling and shutting down. I had different symptoms than the op, I didn't have the pain, but damn anything gut wise, appetite, water intake and peeing etc, i always now assume the worst. I waited to long ignoring what was going on, that is very serious stuff! Never ignore your intution on wanting to go to a doctor or er.
Story 3: one day Troy will do that to another woman and get a well overdue a_kicking from the woman’s protective husband/boyfriend, and then go to jail where he belongs.
the painter story is the equivalent of a scenario where if you hired a roofing company to redo your roof but they mistakenly redo the wrong house instead. It’s on the company to verify everything and it doesn’t seem like they did so considering how they never went to the owner of said property for verification whatsoever the company is absolutely liable for this this is not a scenario of good faith its pure negligence💀
12:16 I'm glad OP apologized to him and left it up to him to decide what he wanted to do. The ex at least deserved an apology, and I'm glad OP gave it without strings attached
This teacher sounds a lot like my favorite teacher at my school, he used to teach at a different school before coming to mine 3 years ago, so this might be him, prob not tho, still epic teacher, he gets an A+
As I listened to this story, and hearing the age of the ex in particular when the twins were conceived….I suspected grooming, and went hunting for the original story. Turns out I was right. In a lengthy final update, OP said that the first time her ex and the egg donor (term is appropriate for this woman, but understand why Rslash didn’t use it) kissed was when he was 15. This lady took advantage of a minor! The statute of limitations is probably long expired, but I really wish she could get time for grooming a then-minor. Otherwise, it seems all is as settled as it can be. Ex and egg donor are also broken up, and donor is in jail for domestic violence (flew off the handle when the ex broke up with her).
But let's look at it from another perspective too, if they spend that $300,000 on travel and only travel, soon as they are broke they will be coming to their siblings demanding a chunk of theirs
Okay story 2 is ticking me off too. So instead of talking to both daughters they just listen to one daughter and then calling yell at the other daughter. We know who's the golden child here.
Wow, that story actually ticked me off. And also they can prove that it was a redheads neighbors because remember the lady said that the redhead couple came in so if there was a court case and the redhead couple were to be there you could call in as a witness to prove that they came in and paid for the house to be painted.
Is the sister just off her head? I mean, she makes statements in direct conflict with reality, has apparently conjured up a relationship from thin air, and it seems she's stalking the poor guy at his place of work. Sounds like she's either on drugs or needs to be.
First story: DAMN IT that was a terrible update. I need an update for the update, I really wanted OP to paint the neighbors house with the same tactics WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT SECOND STORY? The sister is delusional af
First Story: Is there anyone else who thinks it would have been hilarious if the story ended with her looking out her back window and seeing the bike she actually purchased was still outside where she left it?
Story 1: Those are AWFUL cops. It doesn't matter if the painters were paid. They don't have a right to paint somebody else's property against their will. End of story. They were just being lazy and didn't want to file a report. That is the same as destruction of property and should be treated that way. If I pay somebody to demolish my neighbor's garage, would they have to follow through and do it? Of course not. What an absolute joke. He should hire somebody to paint THEIR house completely black and see how that goes. Terrible cops, terrible painters, terrible neighbors, terrible town. I would have the neighbor's house painted yellow and then move out.
I once heard the first story from a different Redditor years ago, and I've always wondered what happened next... How can you alter someone else's property and then face no legal consequences?
Second story: Confusion aside, what a lying bword. With the update: Well, it seems besides being a liar, she is also the golden child. What a nice combo. Well, it seems the lies caught up to Sara but aeems they didn't care because the truth was against their golden child. With the update 2: OP's family are toxic douchebags. One screws up and they get mad with the other one.
Story 1: Honestly, I hope OP got the house back to yellow. I mean, if all it takes is a paint company, then it can't be that hard. As for the neighbors, since they literally admitted to it via a lawsuit, hopefully OP can prove that they got OP's house painted without OP's consent. Maybe THAT will finally shut them up
I’m not at all surprised that an NHS doctor is a horrible choosing beggar. My local University Hospital Foundation Trust in Birmingham, UK, is under investigation by the government’s CQC inspectors (Care Quality Commission) for the toxic bullying, racism, misogyny and sexual harassment that the doctors and nursing staff are engaged in, particularly at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where 50% of the staff have reported being the victim of bullying by the other half. Sadly a junior doctor committed suicide in 2022 because her contract was suddenly extended by six months, and she couldn’t take the bullying any longer. The NHS employs some truly terrible doctors and nurses here in Britain. Disgusting people.
First story: You want examples to literally piss off everyone around? Read this story. Also, how did they avoided fraud since file a work order to someone else's house is basically identity thief since they pretended to be OP to do that. With the update: They are idiots...
Story 2: I'm questioning why OP let the girl stay home from school, and then didn't set boundaries during working hours. That might've signaled to her it's OK to butt out of things and interrupt important events just because of a period. I still went to school during my first period, and exercise actually reduces menstrual cramps. I'm not sure if this justifies the 11-year-old's behavior, but I do think OP mishandled the situation from the beginning. Also, you CAN swim on your period. The boyfriend definitely handled it worse than OP.
You should’ve DEMANDED and apology from your pathetic father! They failed her and most importantly YOU! He sucks, she sucks, &they all suck! Cut ties and go complete ZERO CONTACT! Let them keep believing their lies.
3:15 - Police are NOT lawyers. They just didn't want the extra paperwork and hassle. I'd file a complaint against the precinct for their inability to do their job. It was vandalism. You, the owner did not consent to the painting of the house. The painting company is at fault for not doing due diligence to make sure that the person paying for their services was actually authorized to do so. The neighbors were stupid enough to bill OP later on for the paintjob in the update so they sealed their fate because beforehand, there was no evidence that THEY were complicit. Still, OP could have sued the painting company. You can't jusy anonymously hire another company to harass someone else.
