I stumbled upon this premiere on my way home from work in London. I had no idea what it was about but decided to check it out and joined the crowd. Somehow, I ended up near the red carpet. Tom came over to the fans in front of me, signing autographs. I thought I'd give it a shot and shouted, "Tom! Tommy Boy!" To my surprise, he looked up, laughed, leaned in, and shook my hand. Another highlight was seeing Russell Crowe approach a fan who asked for a photo. He cheekily said, "No!" grabbed the bloke's camera, gave him a shoulder hug, and with his arm outstretched, took a selfie of them both. "Now you can take a shot," he said. 😅
Leno was more like a scared therapist than an interviewer. Very bad uncomfortable interview. Its like van damme did sumthing bad, and leno was like ‘its ok little boy’.
Man you just had to be there for this. I remember seeing MI:2 as a little kid with my dad. It was so larver than life and Tom Cruise was the Michael Jordan of the movie culture at the time.
"Knackig bis in die Backen", alter Schwede...die Neunziger waren schon in vielerlei Hinsicht cool, aber die Ära der Talkshows vermisse ich so garnicht^^
This was Brandon Lee’s baby, it was his vision for the most part and it’s a excellent action film and his father would have been incredibly proud of how gifted his son was
What I love about Jet Li is that he's a regular guy who knows how to put you in your place. When you're nice to him, he's kind to you and will strike up friendship with you. But, when you piss him off, you just wish you didn't because he's one badass who won't let you escape the consequences. That, to me, is a great character trait.
@2:42 Did you notice this? "I always thought you went like to Asia, in your mid 20's" "Oh NO NO NO NO Noooo. Uh oh..." Literally exactly what you say when youve been found out.
@@robertmaguire1067 Ive seen him on david letterman, and he literally calls him a monkey to his face. Its obvious he doesnt really respect the guy. These late night guys meet the greatest people in show business they know bullshit from a mile away.
Even with all his personal issues, his struggles with his personal "demons", sobriety, addictions, etc., Van Damme always had so much more charm & seemed like so much more goodhearted a person than Seagal.
Brandon was cut short in his prime, and it was a great loss, but more importantly, we suffered great loss of a great talented actor. Who knows what could've been.
