I feel that they did Jet Li justice in Lethal Weapon 4. Not some stereotypical sidekick Asian role in a Hollywood movie, but an actual, legit badass that gave the protagonists such a hard time.
YES. He's the best...most dangerous, intimidating, badass Lethal Weapon villain in all LW movies. Second, maybe Busey..but, my fave's still that friggin' south african "diplomat" in 2....lol he's the EASIEST one to HATE... 😆😆
@@isuriadireja91 Busey actually scared the crap out of me as a kid from his part in one of the Lethal Weapon movies. To me they portrayed him as this twisted, demented crazy dude. Nowadays I enjoy that movie. The part where he had that burn on his arm and barely made a sound - that was crazy.
@@isuriadireja91 yeah LW 2 South African vellian was really the true killer he almost killed martin Riggs LW 2 can't not be replaced it's still the best of all the LW franchise.
It's always the language barrier that separates people, but it's awesome that Jet Li and Jay Leno made an attempt to get together for us American viewers! Really enjoyed this
I really understand him about that "playing bad guy" - thing because in the chinese movies he always plays the good guy, the hero, like Huang Fei Hung and others...
What? I'm really shocked to see how this man Get Li is a very humble guy. I always thought that in his whole life has a very close face and angry like he's on movie's scene. What? He's very funny.
Столько позитива за 9 минут, Джет такой молодой и красивый, любезно говорят, и красавица Лопес там сидит хихикает как школьница, смотрел автопереводчиком субтитра.
What I love about Jet Li is that he's a regular guy who knows how to put you in your place. When you're nice to him, he's kind to you and will strike up friendship with you. But, when you piss him off, you just wish you didn't because he's one badass who won't let you escape the consequences. That, to me, is a great character trait.
In my opinion he stands alongside Bruce & jackie as a real thrill to watch on-screen. I am not sure if the rumour that he gave up acting to pledge his life to non-violence as a monk is true or not.
I watched lethal Weapon 4 too as a kid also and on lethal weapon 4 was his last All Chinese Language role. Jet Li was my favorite actor too and very talented and a great martial arts master jet li reminds me of Bruce Lee. In American movies now Jet Li uses swords and Guns and no nunchucks.
When they asked him to do the demonstration, they didn't wanted to clap for him at first, they wanted him to give them some more, but Jetli stood his ground... Clap, am done!
J-Lo, Jet Li, Jay Leno… how interesting. Li said people always ask him to slow down so they could see his moves when he demonstrates. So he said okay, this is gonna be normal time (not the high speed that he can do). I thought it was already high speed but he said it’s normal. If he did real high speed we wouldn’t be able to see what he’s doing. That’s that real Shaolin training. 8:05
@2:03 The problem is they didn't start teaching him German first, that is the proper way to learn English, it would've been way more easier. Great to see Jet Li!
Unusually very friendly despite playing a bit serious and mean characters. Jet Li and Jackie Chan, two of my favorite Chinese actors after Bruce Lee ❤️
