The medical field unfairly and unethically pushes for women to get frequent mammograms during their lifetime. Not only is the test painful to get, it compresses womens’ breasts into an unnatural position, damaging cells, it also causes injury to muscles and glands and exposes healthy women to radiation . Radiation is accumulative in the body. Then, after reading the test results more often than not the x-ray can’t detect something clearly and the women are subjected to further anxiety and worry and asked to come back for still more x-rays called diagnostic mammogram. Mammograms are a poor diagnostic tool which torture women by unfairly compressing their breasts under 45 lbs of pressure and cause injury and harm to women. The medical community should be ashamed for pressuring women to get these tests. A safer alternative would be an MRI. The medical community must stop advertising mammograms and must stop pressuring women to be subjected to this barbaric practice. It is a torture chamber which has a poor track record as a diagnostic tool.

Poor sound quality and lots of jargon used. Needs simplification of the discussion and better sound to be helpful to average patients

Can PAE successfully target large median lobes? History: UroLift 2 years ago (intact and working) . No improvement with UroLift. New Doc. discovered high bladder neck and large median lobe. prostate size 55g. Lobe is where all my issues are stemming from. Want to preserve current Sexual level. On daily coumadin ( heart valve). I've not had much luck finding out if a median lobe can be treated successfully with PAE. Closest IR who does PAE is Jacksonville FL, about 5 hours one way.

jUST LIKE OF WHAT YOU WOULD HEAR FROM A MECHANIC AFTER DIAGNOSING YOUR CAR, THESE DOCTORES ARE REPRESENTING A PROCEDURE LIKE IT IS ALMOST HARMLESS. GUYS, DO NOT PUT YOURSELF (PROSTATE) UNDER ANY PROCEDURE UNLESS YOUR LIFE IS IN DANGER, NOT JUST HAVING SOME DIFFICULTY UNIRATING OR SO FORTH. THERE IS ABSOLUTLY NO WAY ANY ONE OF THESE SOLUTIONS CAN BE REVERSED IN CASE OF ANY COMPROMISE OR COMPLICATIONS AFTER THE PROCEDURE. BE MERCY TO YOURSELF!

Does ablation if greater saphenous vein cause aasv or ssv to eventually go bad from increased blood pressure in them. Because they have to do more work now that a lg vein is eliminated

I had a 6 1/2 hour PAE last spring. It was very hard on me. My prostate was not that big (40 grams) Results were poor. Don't do it without consulting a Urologist first. Remember, Urologists and Interventional Radiologists are in competition with each other. They don't consult with each other very well.
@CharlotteRadiology

Usually, PAE takes around 2 hours to perform. Results can certainly vary depending on prostate size, prostate shape, and other clinical characteristics unique to each patient. Otherwise, data suggests clinical success rates of 80-90%. We evaluate our patients in the clinic/office prior to making procedural decisions and collaborate with our urology colleagues for appropriate patient selection.

There are much better ways to cure bph. Pae has many drawbacks.

PAE has a very strong safety profile compared to other prostate procedures with a major complication risk of <0.5% and a clinical success rate of 80-90%. Men can have different prostate sizes, shapes, and symptoms which require full evaluation for appropriate patient selection.

Beware of this procedure! I had a PAE procedure at Alate Health in Houston done by Dr. Doe over a year ago. It was a complete FAIL! No improvement to date (8/19/22) All I got out of that procedure was a lot of discomfort and an ambulance ride to the hospital with a blood clot in my very swollen leg! Spent 2 days in the hospital. Dr. John Henry Fischer fixed the blood clot

Stop using that “gold standard” tag. It is overplayed, out dated, and meaningless. With those side effects, I would call it a “shit standard”

Yes, there is data to show that PAE is effective in treating the median lobe, which can be difficult to treat with other prostate procedures.

Spoken like someone who hasn't had a port implanted! The port IS optional....NOT mandatory. What's more, the real convenience is due to the fact that Oncology nurses don't have to learn to set up an IV.

PAE has similar longevity as other prostate procedures. It can also be performed more than once and does not preclude patients from pursuing other prostate procedures in the future.

ALL THANKS TO DR. SANI FOR CURING MY FIBROID Seeing is believing. His product is by far the best plan for treating fibroid naturally…the practical step by step instructions and the detailed information regarding the real cause and how to treat uterine fibroid was a real eye opener. I started Dr. Sani medication after intense bleeding and pain which occurred during one of my training exercises. I was later that week diagnosed with two 7cm size fibroids which placed an enormous pressure on my bladder. I was advised by 3 different doctors to undergo surgery to remove these fibroids as I was told that there was nothing I could do to shrink or stop their growth. Luckily, I ran into Dr.Sani as I was searching for information on the net regarding my condition. I was so relieved to have found that surgery was not always the answer, that it can be dangerous and that uterine fibroid can return even after surgical intervention. In less than 4 weeks of taking Dr. Sani herbal portion and following his instruction, both of my fibroids had shrunk by 100% and the second ultrasound taken 8 weeks after I began taking Dr. Sani's herbal medication, had shown that both of the fibroids were completely gone. My menstrual cycle also became regular. And now I am three months pregnant. You can contact Dr. Sani for instructions and advice about his product by WhatsApp on: +2348118184266. Or Email: perfectherbalcure@gmail.com
