My favorite things are the great outdoors and any related gear. Naturally, I spend my free time camping, hiking, and off-roading. Some, if not most, would call me OCD, but I pride myself in staying organized, efficient, self reliant, and practical. Combine these things with a light hearted spirit and an easy going mentality, you get me, Micah. I've spent most of my life in Tucson, Arizona and consider myself a desert dweller, but it's not rare to find me in the pines when I get the chance. I started this channel to share my passions with others and hopefully learn a thing or two in the process. Most of my videos will encompass these passions and I look forward to seeing how the channel evolves along the way.

If you'd like to connect, feel free to shoot me an email at SixEightOutdoors@gmail.com.

I always carry my bagpack, with some things in it. -towel -first aid kit that I expamded a bit. -period stuff -gloves because im a cleaner - handsanitizer -soap -wipes -and my own neccesities. I dont really needs all that stuff with the work I do and the places I go. But it think everyone should at least have a first aid kit even a tiny one on them.

Anyone who actually watched your video and still buys the products are not paying attention. Thank you for being far more truthfully about the shortcomings of this gold plated spout. Most of the shells on RU-vid don’t get into the actual defects of the product because they’re too busy auditioning for their next gig hoping a manufacture will send them their crap, so they can do more videos

Liking the vids brother. Super nice set up what are your suture plans with the rig? Also if you appreciate criticism then read ahead, not here to give hate. If you work on not using filler noises. You use a lot of “and, uh, umm, clicking of the tongue” in between listing items. I’m sure your vids will go even further. Will be subbing to see you get popular in the future. Hoping for more gear vids
@SixEightOutdoors
@SixEightOutdoors 15 дней назад
The next items on my list for the rig are rock sliders, front and rear bumpers, and misc light upgrades. This is my daily driver and I have other hobbies too, so it'll probably be a bit before I get around to any of that unfortunately. Appreciate the sub and the feedback!

So how do you access the bed with the tent on? Through tail gate only?
@SixEightOutdoors
@SixEightOutdoors 18 дней назад
Yes through the tailgate only. Not a huge deal if you pack efficiently. Pros and cons to every setup though. The overland racks where the bed is exposed allows you to access the whole bed very easily, but all your gear is exposed to the elements or theives. I like having everything locked up, dry, and out of sight, but it does come at the cost of accessibility.

What’s the thought process behind mounting a knife with the blade facing towards you?
@SixEightOutdoors
@SixEightOutdoors Месяц назад
@@raudelgarcia8096 if you notice when I pull the blade out, it sweep towards my left arm. So while the blade is facing toward my body, it's directed away from the parts that could inadvertently be cut. I do have to rotate my grip on the blade once it's out, but I'd rather be safe and not cut my arm pulling it out.

Thanks so much for your video. I always love to see what others pack. Here’s a tip if you haven’t already heard it.. For the humidity getting into your spice container, add a small bit of regular white rice to each “compartment”. I lived in Japan for a few years and this was what we did to keep the salt in the shaker from clumping up, and to this day I still do it with not only every salt and pepper shaker I have, but also any other thing I think may be affected. Thanks again for sharing. Really enjoyed it!

the best way to make coffee while camping in my opinion is with a moka pot, they’re pretty cheap, vary in size, make coffee similarly as strong as espresso and you don’t need to boil water separately, because they vary in size and they’re compact it’s perfect for backpacking or even when you are making coffee for multiple people, the only drawback i could possibly imagine is cleaning but you can also just get around that by using a wet wipe and a little water once it’s cooled off
