EarthIdlerIn36T and EarthGearOut92T dont fit together, they are put on the correct side and everything else fits together well. They look as well made as every other pieces, doesnt look like a printer issue. It's like the EarthGearOut92T gets too far away from EarthIdlerIn36T when putting them down the axle so they dont really touch each others
I just downloaded this great project and printed it on a Prusa MK4, 100% scale, 0,2mm Layerheight Unfortunately the Gears don't really reach each other so that the whole gear doesn't work. Also there are quite large tollerances of about 0.6mm between wholes and Axles. Is there another one with that problem? Any suggestions?
IMPORTANT: 1) there's a fixed version of this. This is a GREAT project, it's insane, it's pure magic. But some gears doesn't fit properly. 2: there's the mercury's Axle that is 22cm at 60%. It doesn't fit my anycubic I3 Mega. I'll use a similar stick that I already have, no problem, but BE CAREFULL check each piece before start printing, if it fits your printer :D 3: the pegs are a pain, printed at 60%, I'll use something else, maybe some bamboo sticks :D 4: if you scale the project with OpenSCAD, planets will not be scaled on the Z axis. I scaled it on Cura, so if you scale it at 70%, once you open it with Cura just UNLINK axis (X and Y must not be reduced) and reduce at 70% just the Z measure. THANK YOU SO MUCH, I love it!
Window both Explorer and the OpenSCAD editor windows side by side. Drag the SVG file into the editor and the Import command will automatically be inserted, WITH the correct pathlist. Works with DXF too, and will do the Surface command with PNG and DAT files. VERY useful.
The armillary "sphere" is based on a horizontal flat circle as the base with various arc in the sky through which the heavens move. It's a flat earth model. Of curse it's a device based on a specific location. Also, this one is missing the small sun and moon that was inside the hemisphere.
I have always maintained that the millions of years of opportunities evolution has had developing the human human body it could have given us a few more pairs of hands for jobs such as these plus, other fun things.🙂
New to 3D printing since December. Print plane is small, 150mmx150mmx150mm, would be very helpful if size of item, no matter what the item is, had measurements posted . Thank you!
Very nice, is there any chance you could add version without the base. i really like the idea where the curve is barely touching the base instead of sinking into it.
I am getting ready to start printing and I think I understand all of the pieces, but I do not see an STL file for the shaft that connects the inner and outer gears.
I think this is a program you run on your PC locally, which means not only is it free forever, you can do whatever you like with it. You can turn off the internet and continue to use the program, too.
Never got any of them to work as good as using the VERY primitive inpainting tool within web-gui. I think it may be the lack of negative prompting that Automatic1111 allows because if you take my negatives away it drastically changes the output.
Hi! Did you manage to get the in paint fine on the automatic 1111, I just don’t get great results with the in paint. Whisk this be better than the automatic 1111?
Seeing stuff like this, these flexible features giving you not only full control, but control that even also takes advantage still of the algorithms when doing compositional corrections and adaptions, makes me less and less skeptical about it. I now start to think this is another big milestone, similar to the introduction of incorporating photobashing in painting, may be even exponentially crazier. The fact that it's already in Krita and works that well is crazy in itself considering how young it is.
