I print this model twice on a flashforce adventurer 3. first in 100% scale and made some slices on the base plate. The second print was done with 80% scaling. It functioning as I thought it would! Great model!!!
Love this project, but there is one important instruction missing from the video for anyone watching. The gears are herringbone style, which makes it important to get the gears the right way up. If a gear is upside down on a shaft it wont mesh
I just downloaded this great project and printed it on a Prusa MK4, 100% scale, 0,2mm Layerheight Unfortunately the Gears don't really reach each other so that the whole gear doesn't work. Also there are quite large tollerances of about 0.6mm between wholes and Axles. Is there another one with that problem? Any suggestions?
EarthIdlerIn36T and EarthGearOut92T dont fit together, they are put on the correct side and everything else fits together well. They look as well made as every other pieces, doesnt look like a printer issue. It's like the EarthGearOut92T gets too far away from EarthIdlerIn36T when putting them down the axle so they dont really touch each others
New to 3D printing since December. Print plane is small, 150mmx150mmx150mm, would be very helpful if size of item, no matter what the item is, had measurements posted . Thank you!
Hi, thanks for Video. My problem is to find the right gear. Would it be make sense to name them by the diameter? That would be easy to find the right one from the whole bunch of gears.
hey towero, where is the main center base piece in your files as i dont see it,do the 3 cuts go all the way down as its hard to see in your video, also what is the piece that has the cut down the length of it that holds the gears together made of metal as i didnt see this part in your files.I would love to make this for my child, she says your work is amazing.
I am getting ready to start printing and I think I understand all of the pieces, but I do not see an STL file for the shaft that connects the inner and outer gears.
