Sohyang lacks power lol. Her advantage is her microphone. Lol. Regine's tone is fuller and more powerful. SohYang will be eaten alive by the prime Regine in one stage lol. SohYang sounds the same in every song while Regine has an impeccable musicality.
It's just a plain stupid exercise which is never going to have an answer,its not about reaching a certain note its about how that note makes you feel when you hear it.i personally prefer Sohyang but that doesnt make my opinion any more valid than someone who disagrees so why have the debate
If I'm gonna be honest,Regine is stable in both low and high register and has fuller belt.Sohyang tends to be wobbly in her low notes and in her runs.Dont compare Regine to that singer.ALSO SOHYANG IS STRAINING BAD!!
Paulette Cambronero will just easily slay Sohyang without having a hard time when it comes to vocal battle if we talk about vocal battle Sohyang is ordinary what sets Regine apart from other vocal beast in the Philippines is her artistry, delivery song interpretation elegance, emotion, story telling, etc... Sohyang has a weak chest voice that's why she's using headmix and mix. She can sing higher than Regine, but that's no compare to the 80's and 90's Regine. Diction and pronunciation, mid belts, low notes. Regine can support High chest and sohyang can't but opposite to Regine, Sohyang can support more high headmix than chest. But when it comes to neutral kind of singing like no belt at all, I really choose the younger Regine.
The longer I’m listening to Sohyang It becomes a noise and kinda force voice. QuaLity wise ? No! Yes high pitch but it’s not so nice to listen anymore it’s kinda circus.

How can she be the most vocally talented in the world in fact she's not even well grounded vocally she's weak in Low notes as well as the mid register. What the heck this people perception about music if you can hit higher notes then that's it ... Best of the world 🌎 already 😭😭😭? Low notes are as important as high notes the same thing as mid registers you need to master these elements for you to become flexible vocalist unlike Regine she developed all her Registers. Regine is the best.. Best voice quality, belting good in ears when u hear not shouting...more knowledge in technical aspect of singging. A walking voice..the best singer in Asia no one can compare.
Also Regine's video quality in this comparison is low and some are from her impromptou performances in a sunday show. They must upload the one's she sang in concerts.
Your kidding Regine even perform in Korea featured in KBS channel has a documentary in KBS dubbed as the Singing angel in Asia her song pangako was revived by Korean singer have a little research first before commenting
