Sorry please don’t do this..you can keep your hair in for two weeks and still get tremendous hair growth. The long wait is only making it hard to de- tangle your hair.. please do not wash your hair with draids or extensions in..
Hello, I understand your pov🤗 Firstly, there wasn't an extension used. Secondly, it is very okay to wash your hair with weaves or any protective hairstyles, it is called protective hairstyles for that reason also. Till date I still wash my hair in cornrows, twists, braids made with my natural hair and I take it down the right way. It will always be hard taking down your hair whether or not your wash your hair while it is in a style, it will only be easy to take down if you hydrate and moisturize it before taking it down. Washing my hair with styles on has never been an issue but if it is for your type of hair, then I guess you have stopped. Thanks❤️
@noterleej I have been doing this for years now. And have gone 5 months the most with one set of braids/plaits(no extension) in my hair and tangling is a given, but not any damage or problems you imply. My hair is past waist length and I have 4b/4c hair. I also wash and deep condition weekly and moisturize. If ppl with locs undo their locs what is a set of plaits that has been in for shorter time compared to locs thats been in for years. Done correctly this definitely helps kinkier hair textures with length retention
@@dees5250 hey I did not imply or mention any damages to the hair. All I said was it’s not necessary to go this long to retain length. Because of the de-tangling process… I know people have seen great results by this method. But you can also see results with weekly washes.
I always sleep on a satin pillowcase or use a satin bonnet. I dont always repack the twist, I only style it like once in a week and thats on Sunday. When I was taking it down, I was extremely careful
@@Deedeenaturalhair But it's not good for your hair shaft. Buy professional shears, you will notice the difference right away as they are supersharp. You're hair should not bend when you cut it, that means the scissors are too dull.
Hello girl i have been using olive oil on my low porosity hair and my hair loved it but based on the research it is suitable for high porosity what can say about it
Hello 🤗 Any oil can work with any hair, it depends on what your hair choose but as you said some oils are suitable for some porosity because of the speed at which that kind of hair can absorb the kind of oil applied, as some oils are thicker and others light weight. If you are low porosity and you haven't tried other light weight oils, try them first as they might work better than the olive, if you have tried the ones suggested for low porosity for at least a year and it isn't working, stick to what works for you.
Hi sis i don't really comment but u are incredible, help me show how u fixed ur beeds to stay firm on the braid. I could braid but as my hair grows longer, making cornrows by myself is really exhausting. Girl i do try but the way the hair tangles and to free up each strand while braiding is terrible ( my elbow, my hands, my neck, also my bombom is on fire) like seriously i wish for a less stressful way. Sweetie i only braid 6 cornrows for like 12 hours
I love you for commenting,Thank you❤️❤️I fix my beads using a crochet hook, I fold my hair on the last bead then I use those tiny black rubber band to tie my folded hair there, it is easy to take out later that way. I also experience those pains when braiding my hair, we can't escape it 😁😁but the best thing to do before make your hair is to stretch it , I use thread to stretch my hair, I have a video on that. When I put it in the stretching hairstyle then I take it out after 3 or 4 days, my curls will be looser and easier to work with. Let me know if you have more questions.❤️
@@Deedeenaturalhair please can you tell us more things we need to avoid as a low porosity or as a high porosity and things will need to do more. And things we need to do if our work is too stressful for us so it will not affect our hair because as I'm talking to you I noticed that the main problem I'm having on my hair is stress. And I can't just leave customer clothes because I want long hair. Like my hair is getting worst day by the my edges I can't even go out without covering my hair. People do admire my hair but this time around is not giving at all. I have even start thinking of cutting it.
Me I am high porosity/ medium porosity, and my hair doesn't get wet easily and I use olive oil and coconut oil, shea butter. I've not try other deep conditioner, and I use mega growth deep conditioner and leave in it's okay or I should change it? I've been looking for some one who will explain this to me, my daughter and I is the same but I first daughter easily take water on her hair
Please can you recommend herbal tea spray that I can use on my hair, remember i have low porosity hair. I use rosemary, hibiscus flower and moringa every 3 days. I add my living in condition inside then I use oil or butter at last. You are now my new hair mentor.
When it comes to using ayurvedic herbs, it's okay to use any for any porosity type. If your hair loves that mix, ride on! You can also try rosemary n cinnamon, rosemary n cloves n cinnamon, etc Try out other herbs because your hair might love others better. Using oil or butter next is a great choice for low porosity, but after using a tea, try to moisturize first with a leave in conditioner before sealing with an oil or butter. Thanks for trusting my contents Love❤️❤️❤️❤️
