@@Deedeenaturalhair I do my hair myself. So when I make the cornrows, takedown is always challenging and I lose too much hair. My go styles are mini braids and beaded hairstyles. But you see that cornrows... 🥺
@@BLsavedMe I get😬 I make my hair myself too but I let someone else make the didi. I don’t make the regular braid cornrows, it breaks my hair, I do not classify the braids cornrows as a protective hairstyle because the ends of the hair is always exposed especially people with thick hair. It’s good you’ve found what works for you, stick to them. I do your two choices also, the beads is my next hairstyle 🤓🤓
@@Deedeenaturalhair I've been making my hair for over 4 years. Now I have trust issues about others touching my hair. If I knew how to do the didi I'd have done it on myself. People are just so cruel and rough with natural hair 🤧☹️
@@BLsavedMe very very rough. You can ask around or check if someone around you has made didi. Ask about the hairdresser and how their hands are on the hair. That was how I found one because wig Dey help my life🥹🥹 and Didi is the only thing that can create that flat result for my wigs😀
Sorry please don’t do this..you can keep your hair in for two weeks and still get tremendous hair growth. The long wait is only making it hard to de- tangle your hair.. please do not wash your hair with draids or extensions in..
Hello, I understand your pov🤗 Firstly, there wasn't an extension used. Secondly, it is very okay to wash your hair with weaves or any protective hairstyles, it is called protective hairstyles for that reason also. Till date I still wash my hair in cornrows, twists, braids made with my natural hair and I take it down the right way. It will always be hard taking down your hair whether or not your wash your hair while it is in a style, it will only be easy to take down if you hydrate and moisturize it before taking it down. Washing my hair with styles on has never been an issue but if it is for your type of hair, then I guess you have stopped. Thanks❤️
@noterleej I have been doing this for years now. And have gone 5 months the most with one set of braids/plaits(no extension) in my hair and tangling is a given, but not any damage or problems you imply. My hair is past waist length and I have 4b/4c hair. I also wash and deep condition weekly and moisturize. If ppl with locs undo their locs what is a set of plaits that has been in for shorter time compared to locs thats been in for years. Done correctly this definitely helps kinkier hair textures with length retention
@@dees5250 hey I did not imply or mention any damages to the hair. All I said was it’s not necessary to go this long to retain length. Because of the de-tangling process… I know people have seen great results by this method. But you can also see results with weekly washes.
