Purchased the same one. Even though it’s simple to free the jam it is still a huge pain when you’re sweating , hot , worn out and simply trying to spread product. The design for it to jam as it does needs to be rethought.

Long term 3+ years would be the thing because that’s where I see moisture start to effect the battery case with regular batteries and of course those squirrels

Where my grandparents stay during the warm months in Iowa, the deer have been getting noticeably smarter over the past couple of years. People still have random bad luck of course, but every encounter I've had with a deer recently ends with them running away from the car or standing at the shoulder and jumping in front of it just in time to almost cause an accident like it was on purpose.
Lots of success getting the trees up and growing without losing too many in the first few years. Its rough getting them established and growing tall enough to be out of deer browsing height.
Great work guys. You are going to love your orchard. I know the deer and myself love the orchard tree variety my family and I planted here in central Pennsylvania.
