I never understood why Carrie felt weird about taking the money at the end. She is also a whore and sleeps around endlessly, but unlike Amalita she does it for free? How does that make her better or more noble?

Amalita was a high class madam, who used Carrie for her own benefit. Not really as fun and pleasant a character as some think. The more you consider it, the more shady it seems. Shes so insidious.
SATC really was an iconic tv show, they wish they could write something so simple yet so genuinely interesting scene now in any other comedy-drama show. All the things produced after 2016 are literal trash. TV is dead. Cinema is dead. Bring back the 80's/90's/2000's
