Loved the video. I didn't know about follow on crits only triggering if the first hit is a crit! I've never really given the boosts much thought so I'm definitely going to look into it!
Worst designed mechanics in the entire game, literally made to punish the player and be anti-fun to play. What a great idea, a boss that is so poorly made it makes you not want to play anymore! Genius!
Great video, Nandi. I’d guess you are working on a similar video for the upcoming chaos Halloween survival event? I’d be interested in your basic team composition as we have 30 days to get ready. As Gravis armor was so good in the Titus event, I’m thinking the Halloween event will rely on the terminator armor boys with rotbone supporting. Angrax, Maladus, Thoth and Rotty rounding out the group of 5 with Azkor.
Does anyone have non expired codes for redemption? I might consider referal codes, too. I know i could you the help i dont have any items available to scrap in forge and I've been replaying the levels and not getting battle rewards. Playing the same one winning and not getting the dice roll. Thanks to you if there are valid codes.
Raid bosses aren’t supposed to be very random, it’s bad coding in my opinion since it prevents to put a real strategy in place. Same with Szarekh, his randomness is utter crap.
I want to enjoy this game, I really do. But the AI is soooooo trash. And the matching for arena at the start is quite oppressive. Done move, get AoE to death, move, get over watched to death. Rinse and repeat.
Wouldn't bother with any of this I've been playing for about a year now and the only campaign I've managed to complete is Indonitus. I no longer seem to get what in need to level up my necrona, orcs and chaos. And am completely unable to complete any other campaign and haven't been for ages. I get slaughtered every time and every mission the enemy hardcore just goes for my healers until they are dead and finishes the rest off within a couple of rounds. Even some so called easy missions I just get one or two shouted, no matter what I do. So I'm stuck on the final leg of all the campaigns not getting what I need to level up properly at all and stuck with impossible to beat missions. I guess being a free to play player comes with punishments. Having the enemies just all go for the healers until they are dead leaving with no way to heal and being too OP to defeat is a really shitty move.
This new boss will make me useless actually, cause I do not like to micro a lot and I do not have Helbrecht at all, I also have a very weak Roswitha at Br1
Tbh I think Abbadon could be fixed with two small changes. Make it so his active doesnt reduce his health if it's already higher, so you are not penalized for opening with it. Make it so his passive gives all chaos units Let the galaxy burn, with the +1 to black legion, or make it so it makes Let the galaxy burn be a guaranteed proc
Nandi one question, I'm Umbra the guy that's fighting with you the top 1 in the event of Lucien, how do you manage to gain almost 1k points 4 hours before the reset and almost two weeks after the event started? Thanks and keep the good work.

I unlocked the Biovore from a random pull, and as a first machine of war it's golden. Even unupgraded its value is excellent because it allows you to bait the AI at the other side of the map if need be. For some reason they really, REALLY don't like those floating balloons :'D
I don't get how Ragnars passive would work here. It's only triggered by killing a character. Are those scarab terminators considered characters? The passive description doesn't suggest that.
If you know the lore.... you'd know another two things as well! Magnus doesn't hate psykers, he IS a psyker, the KING of psykers! I would imagine it's this dominion that makes them draw his focus, not hatred. Also, a devotee of Khorne would GLEEFULLY slay a pawn of Tzeentch, not just because the Chaos "superfaction" fights against itself just as often as it fights its enemies, but also because Khorne specifically HATES psykers. Both just a slip of the tongue, I'm sure, as I'm sure you've mentioned Magnus being a psyker earlier in the video and the World Eaters getting Psychic resistance in their release video.
Here’s a fun Anti-Psyker lineup: Roswitha because it’s Roswitha, Tjark because of his passive, Neurothrope (for reducing enemy psychic damage via shadow in the warp passive), Helbrecht because of his passive, and either a damage buffer like Eldryon or Calgar or UNIRONICALLY Varro Tigrius for his passive to reduce psychic damage dealt from Magnus to adjacent allies
So.... for a relatively underpowered player wanting to do big damage to thaumachus, could they take a team of 4x stone 1 characters, with one stronger multi hitting character and essentially get 4 big hits in early? Granted max damage potential is low but seems a way to cheese at least some damage down
Will be interesting to see how non-whale teams go against this boss, helbrecht is not commonly owned. Seems like the ideal team is made up of characters that most don’t have.
I wonder if snow print would also add the loyalist Primarchs Bobby G. and Johnson as Raid Bosses I mean their own legions are already in-game Also it looks like it's finally time for the High Marshal to shine
Great video, and sounds like a really interesting fight. Maybe a role for Corrodius as well? Could give Kharn some extra movement to catch up to Magnus as he flies around, and the Poxwalkers could help against the adds. Though not sure the passive hits hard enough to be worth it.
I realy hope they will rework Abaddon to a point where Chaos in PVE becomes Viable again... Kharn was a Good Start but none of the Other Chaos Units cut close to him or other imperial Units. But as Usual great video Nandi - we apreciate you !
