MAN I LEARNED THE HARD WAY!!! NOW...ANYTIME I HAVE A REEL SPOOLED....THE FIRST THINGVI DO...WHEN ON THE WATER....IS TO PUT A GOOD SIZED LEAD ON...AND LET THE ENTIRE SPOOL RUN OUT.....THEN I WIND IT BACK ON...TIGHT!!! I LOST A FISH OF A LIFETIME...DUE TO THE SAME PROBLEM THAT YOUR HAVING!!!!!
The old mustad 39960st never fail. They don't have the bling that these new hooks have but they get the job done. Those newer hooks are brittle. I have seen a lot of them give up the ghost. Kind of surprised with your commercial background that you don't use the tinned Mustads. Just a hellacious video though!! Watching that bait net spread out was a thing of beauty.
Wow cap sorry to hear you having problems and I had gopro before and always had problems ,I been using DJI asmo action 1 and is been the best camera, hope you get a good cam cap. Because as we know loosing footage is loosing money for us cap. Love your abaco fishing, is one of my favorite place to visit cap. Navigate safe cap.
Bro does your boat still have standing water even after the bracket install? It looked like in several shots there was 2 to 3 inches of water back there.
I do the same over at Haulover, usually just safer and easier for me tbh. Also helps to cut into the waves at a good angle. Can sneak past all the idiots instead of charging right at em
