Recommend not buying any Linksys Wifi product. My brand new WiFi 6 mesh router failed almost a year ago and Linksys refuses to replace the unit even though they admitted it is a hardware failure. I went to Eero, far better performance and support.
Yes, on on some mesh models (mine is a Velop WHWO) , they force you to download an app and set up a link-sys account on your phone to do the setup. Avoid Linksys!
still using this to this day with openwrt though its prolly gonna be replaced with a unifi AP Wifi 7 I think they should redo the concept with Wifi 6E or 7 with the same open source nature

Don't buy this Hydra pro6e if you want Pro. the 6ghz does not show with the new update no solution, no money back no follow up. only problems with this, buy T-plink
Hi, whenever I setup the node connected to the ethernet cable it creates a new Wifi network different from the one that comes with the modem, is there any way to make a single network that uses both the modem and the parent node?
Thanks, but I don't need help. After doing some research and viewing a few RU-vid videos on the topic, I bought a TP-Link Router. Installation was easy and it works great. Let me know if/when you get the installation on your devices working properly.
the app won’t connect to the box keeps saying g is it plugged in when everything is in place also light is blue on one box and purple on my other and won’t change

How fucking stupid does an engineer have to be to require you to own a smart phone to be able to install their product? Totally unnecessary step. Just print the default login credentials on the damn router so the user can plug it into their modem and then connect through a browser.
