This was made this past Monday. The Conditions were good. Today the mountain stayed frozen and hard most of the day. Mineral Basin was the place to be. This time of year, it is hard to say what the snow conditions will be like. Also, Mineral Basin, Peruvian Gulch, and the Little Cloud area are they only areas that are open right now.
Don't ski Regulator. It's one of the worst runs at the whole place, if not the worst. It's always icy. Take that cat, and instead of turning left into Regulator, go into the Cirque Traverse gate and ski The Cirque or Gad Chutes. Only other thing off Little Cloud chair worth skiing on the Gad side is Road to Provo to dive into a bowl that's far better.
this was the first run of the day, and those areas were just as bad. Mineral was closed due to high winds. It warmed up later in the day and the runs were skiable again.
Phenomenal! Absolutely love your video. Takes me right back to snowbird , the tram and Peruvian. I know exactly where you are and what runs you’re doing and many are my favorite at the end of each day.
You skied so effortlessly! Thanks for a virtual tour that brings me back to Snowbird. I did the same route a couple of weeks before, but I stopped multiple times to scan for easiest paths, and take a few short breaks. Hope one day I can ski as confidently as you do!
Thanks for taking us on a run. It hit the nostalgia bug for me. It was where I learned to ski. Pebble is a steep mountain. A great little ski area that skis like a much bigger mountain. Looking forward to getting back there this season.
