An early April day at Snowbird. The runs were a little on the icy side this morning. They would thaw out somewhat later in the day. The crew did do a nice job tenderizing Regulator Johnson.
Don't ski Regulator. It's one of the worst runs at the whole place, if not the worst. It's always icy. Take that cat, and instead of turning left into Regulator, go into the Cirque Traverse gate and ski The Cirque or Gad Chutes. Only other thing off Little Cloud chair worth skiing on the Gad side is Road to Provo to dive into a bowl that's far better.
this was the first run of the day, and those areas were just as bad. Mineral was closed due to high winds. It warmed up later in the day and the runs were skiable again.
