Why we showin Baker drop passes in drills as we say he has really good hands haha, Polk has the solid consistent hands.. Baker has the splash Odell B. type big play potential.. smh
No One realizes what the Giants are doing? Or nobody cares? We’ve been a bottom feeder for over a decade now. One of the worst franchises in the sport over that span. Nobody is worried about the Giants.
I’m not trying to be a “downer” or a “pessimist” but this Football Logic gentleman is trying to make me believe NE continues to churn out HOFer’s, Pro Bowlers, and All Pro’s every season.😂😂😂 I mean I just couldn’t help but laugh because I totally get hyping up the team and being happy with a new era of Pats Nation football but it’s another thing to be chugging the delusional kool-aid.😂 Listen I’m so stoked for what the future could look like without Coach Belichick clowning around as much as the next guy and I’m stoked Drake Maye fell to NE at 3, but unless Drake Maye carries this team on his back throwing for over 5K yards and 50 TD’s like Brady did in ‘07 with Moss, I just don’t see how this team will even compete for the division with Brissett (who’s okay) at QB and “meh” talent at the WR room (everyone there are mainly #3 and #4 WR type guys) and the OL (maybe David Andrews and Onwenu being the exceptions). It’s just the realization that NE just can’t compete with the talent that Miami, NY and Buffalo all have offensively and roster wise. Also, while the defense is solid, it’s nowhere near all-time great and full of all these super great pieces like I was told in the video.😂 That’s just my opinion at the end of the day though.😂
Really think they should sit him for a year behind Jacoby. Give him time to work on his throwing motion. Dudes throwing motion and release is really slow and will set him up for a bunch of strips in the NFL. He should focus on working on that and getting accustomed to the NFL speed this year. Too many QB's are thrown into the fire too early and are wrecked by it.
Drake… needs to steal that starting job. Putting him in “The Fire” is to risky. NFL speed and knowing the playbook is the biggest jump in a football career. His confidence can get shook by rushing him into service to soon. Everyone should manage expectations and check the hype at the door. Too many new pieces, but I like the additions and subtractions. That O line is a big question mark for me.
@@summersalt123 with proper management pick 3 could have been pick 4 and pick 11 plus some additional picks. Take MHJ and a top 3 o lineman. Then if Mac still sucked this year, you’d have a great early pick and some assets to move up if needed to take sanders next year
Been a Pats fan since the merger. Been through the good...and the bad. I am very excited for the future of this team. I'm ok with Brisset starting the season behind Center and Drake learning. However, if Maye outplays Brisset in camp and in the PS, start him.
Bro it just hit me! Can you imagine get your ass whooped by Pat Richard and Derek Henry. Then at the end of the 3rd quarter! You gotta run your ass off to catch Keaton Michel and possibly Lamar. Damn!
That’s my whole point because without a true #1 WR, this group then needs to become full of all young and talented guys that make up a full and stocked WR room that combined, can be similar to GB has currently, in that all of them together as a unit can produce like a top #1 WR. Meaning, all kinds of different skillset guys and that do different things that can lead to a combined production similar to that of a #1 WR in the NFL. Otherwise, we’ll see NE start stinking it up again for a top draft pick in 2025 and hopefully, that would be for either a top LT prospect or a top #1 WR prospect. Hell, I’m good with them even doing something like going and getting Tee Higgins from Cincy, after this upcoming season, paying him to be their #1 WR, and then drafting a top tier OT? I don’t know; we’ll have to see though.😂
Mazi wasnt good enough because he lost 35 pounds and played 3 technique instead of nose tackle which is his position. he never got sacks in college. he's a nose. he's also only gained 5 pounds back so we still dont have a nose to replace Hankins. who's going to anchor the run up the middle??
We're always contenders,we just don't finish...sad..but..alot of people that talk crap about Dallas allllllllways want and grab someone from Dallas..😮🤔couldn't suck that bad..has to say that.yaw be blessed.
I don’t understand the sit and develop for a year. Why because footwork and pocket awareness?Every other QB in the league scrambles and makes throws out of their asses which is what Maye does. Burrow is really the only traditional style QB on the elite level now that Brady is out. Just start him and let the team work it out.
Drake Maye better than Jayden Daniels is absolutely absurd😂😂😂what film did you watch fr…Daniels will be a day 1 starter…Maye will sit for 2 years minimum
Nahhh bro just because you are a fan of drake let him sit for a year what happens he gets in there and gets blasted several times you mess up a rookies confidence its super hard to come back from that... he going to figure out how to get things done for you? How hes never played an NFL game its far from college
They will never be the team they once was. I hate when people blame the QB when the O line was completely dead last in the league as far as protection and the receiving core was ass too
Pats are back to being 1/32 teams in the league. Doesn't mean they can't be good again, just means there's also no reason they should be and right now they're a bad team until they hit on a QB, much like most bad teams in the league.
Maye needs to sit for a year. Not only because he is still rough around the edges and he has that insane RAW talent that needs to be built up....but the O-line will get a rookie QB KILLED. Until the team is a bit better he needs to sit and learn.
@@nickkelley3726 A very large amount of QB have been ruined by being rushed into a bad situation. How many QB have suffered by sitting a year or 2 and learning?
@@purrsnickety8269 For Patriots fans it's going to be hard to wait and watch the team struggle with Brissett at the helm. I do think you're right though that Maye needs time before he's thrust into the fire. Having no exceptional skill players to get open and a bad offensive line that can't protect long enough for a play to develop is a recipe for disaster coupled with a rookie QB.
Ultimately, it's not up to Coach Mayo or Bob Kraft. Brissett is only a good backup QB, alla Brian Hoyer. The FANS will decide when Drake Maye's first game as a starter will be - no one else.
Its unbelievable to me that this is the 3rd wasted season in a row because the Patriots will come into the season with the worst o-line in the league. We are just a bunch of hacks, so how is it that we can clearly see the problem, but all the scouts & coaches can not? I don't get it. If your o-line sucks, your team can not win games, no matter what else
If they had an o-line that was even the 30th best in the league, the QB play would have been average. If they had a solid O-line, the QB play would not have been talked about, the horrible receiving corp would have been in the spotlight. My point is, your QB and/or your Receiver talent doesn't even enter the conversation when your o-line is so pathetic that it couldn't even start on most of the top 10 college teams.
@@user-lj7rr4ob1v Seems that way, but when the scheme sucks, WRs are too close to each other, no one gets open, etc. and the QB ends up holding the ball and eating it. That makes the O-line stats look bad. Its all interconnected in a way that its tough to put your finger on one thing. We know the scheme sucked, we know WR talent was slim, we knew Jones arm was average at best. Put all that together and it makes sense what we saw last year.
The other side of that is opposing teams knew the Pats Offense was pathetic and played very conservatively. A 10 point second quarter lead was safe, no need to force anything trying to score more.
We lost 9 games by 10 points or less with a competent QB we win a couple more, Philly and Miami were lost on failed final drives, a competent O line and we may of been .600 or a little more
LMAO -- this video is silly -- it blames last season's horrible record due to bad QB play & is optimistic about this season due to the talent acquired at skill positions -- This team, and any NFL team, can not win games with an offensive line that is the worst in the league. Several college teams had better o-lines than the Patriots last season, and so far this season the Patriots have done little to remedy the situation. It seems like we might have marginally improved the guard position, but the team still needs 2 left tackles & a center that are above average to have any chance to have a winning record. If you brought back Brady, Gronk, Edelman, & White last season, the patriots probably would have won 6 games instead of 4. This years team does look promising pretty much everywhere except o-line. This will translate into a 5 or 6 win team. If they had a top 10 o-line, this team could win 13 games or more.
He needs to prove his durability -- in those 3 games he already proved himself talent wise. If he can stay healthy, he will be a Revis like dominant lock down corner.
