This is really helpful! We already have this installed but have an issue. The connection in the bed isn't working, but the license plate connection still does. Now I know exactly what to check! Now I think we may just have a loose connection &/or some dirty terminals. If it's not, now I know which wiring harness to replace & where it's located. Also, I never knew that's how you lowered the spare tire! (It's my husband's vehicle & I've never needed to lower a spare in a truck, which I didn't realize until today. 😁) Thanks!
Advice from anybody? 200-4R has a wicked clanging noise when shifted into drive, shifts up through all gears fine but kinda hard shifting, then a hard downshift around 5mph from second to first with a clang noise and sometimes accompanied by shuddering. Any input or advice is appreciated:)
Well shit that’s easy haha nice I need this hookup I didn’t even realize my new truck didn’t have this plug I just checked to see it had the 5th wheel package in the bed for the hitch so I need to do this. Is it the same part number for a 2022 f350?
I will still take the high torque one. Although mid torque would work but I much prefer the effortless quick tap of the bigger gun to get things off than the one that sounds like it is struggling it’s shit off.
Thank YOU SO MUCH!!! I honestly thought I'd be putting it together like an entertainment system, it's basically assembled. This video saved me from the headache I was creating for myself❤
Mine stopped working after the battery was replaced. The auto stop/start light comes on when I have the brakes on and goes off when I press the gas. I don't want to mess anything up.
I have this Transmission in my 87 SS and it feels like it's not going into Overdrive at all. Is the fix your describing for my problem also ?? Transmission goes thru the gears fine but never goes into OD. Thanks for any help you can give me.
The box will fit under the drivers seat on the support bar if you wrestle with it and use a long blade screwdriver to lift the lip and you are willing to scratch up your hands.
With this installed does it still allow the BMS to still do what it's designed to do? All I want to do is get rid of the auto start/stop. Which by the way is got to be the dumbest engineer design ever conceived!
Wow, I was considering picking up an X3 XRS the local dealer want to blow out but think I’ll stick to my good ole turbo S. I had no idea the x3s were so poorly engineered and made. That paper thin sheet metal and single shear is down right scary. Thank you for posting this.
Do you have a favorite budget option? I’m looking for something to power a fridge for a night or maybe two. I’m thinking a Bluetti AC 180 or 70. But I wish there was a cheaper option that would have enough power to get me thru about 12 hours of running a fridge. They need about 45 wh/hour. Or actually probably less because I usually camp in mild comfortable temps.
I added 4 of these to my EZGO CART they work fine but when I get down to 83% the Cart shuts down and will not run any longer. Its like dead in the water till I charge it up again. Why is my cart doing this ???? HELP !!!!
Nicely done... I was debating how to do this on our 06 250-SuperDuty and you just solved that. I was dreading having to wire it manually and this would keep our 5th wheel cord totally inside the bed.
Or just wait until your battery life depletes 🪫 and the system disables it automatically. But do not reset system once you change it back to a healthy car battery 🔋
What is the algorithm you are talking about with the smart charger? I have a 36V system in an EZ GO and put Dr Prepare batteries in, but my smart charger will not engage. I have a HTRC P3648 smart charger. I tested the charger on Enjoybot batteries and it worked, but won't work on Dr Prepare batteries.
I did this and problems was fixed at 1st drive. Then I shut it off and it starts again. Next day take a drive no issues, turn it off and here we go again, fluids topped off. Any suggestions?
Try checking and see if the carburetor needs adjustments. Mines did the same thing. Bought a new remanufactured carb and the problem went away. Those carburetors have vacuum lines that work with the 2004r transmission.
This is a warning for potential buyers. I want to share my experiences buying from this company (if you can call it that). This is one of the shadiest company around. Don't expect any after-sales support at all. Therefore no warranty! This is like a one man (couple at best) show based in L.A area importing these from china. These Chinese individuals do not pick up phones, do not respond to voicemails, do not respond to emails. Evidently they also have comprehension issues or that could also be an act, along with the robotic responses. Like the other RU-vid reviewers have discussed, they still haven't fixed the app interface and its still buggy. The unit itself has many quirks. As it stands this guy/company has completely dropped all communications and i am at a loss on how to proceed from here.
