Howsit TOC its me again, another lekker vid! Keep it up man! Love the catch n cooks. With that last fish I would have said loosen the drag and let the fish (hopefully) swim out of the reef, let it run and then pull it up, but what your dad said also makes sense 😊
Any fishermen in here that can tell me what went wrong on that last fish? Also big shout out to my dad for paddling 12km (total) and out-fishing me at over 60 years old. Enjoy the video everyone!
@@toc.theoceanchannel I did check it out bro awesome stuff.... Shame all your buddies were not feeling so Lekker... But the muscle cracker (cracken) was worth it .... Nice fish bro water has been undivable for nearly 3 weeks now.... I work during the week and only have weekends to dive and the weather and sea has not been kind in KZN .... Love the videos bro hope your channel keeps growing and growing... Be safe out there 👍
Shot! I have never found any rhythm with land based training. All my practise comes when I am in the water. Dive with awareness of your body. Monitoring how you feel, what makes you stressed on a dive, etc. What also helped me was to find motivation that goes beyond shooting a fish.
The NZ snapper look very similar to the Cracker here ins ZA but they are slightly different. Snapper is more pink/copper colour. Would love dive in your waters one day!
I acknowledge all your effort bro and trust me you are doing a damn good job! Your content is truly inspiring to many im sure! You are a good diver and a humble dude, well done on that dive, always love your content bro, would be an honor to dive with you some day! Take care my bru!!
haha, true - I measured out the shot distance on the Cracker (ie. how much line it took off) and it was about 5m. Thats a pretty long shot through a thick fish which is impressive!
Dude! don't take big risks like that geez... Get your hands on a mini mouth tank. Around R180 is worth it with R60 to refill. We want more so don't try and end your life now. Great video!
