I get some other throat vibrations, it sounds like a rumbly sustained cough, also sounds kinda high pitched but thicker and more resistant when it comes to airflow than false cord
I can do it in chest voice but I’m having trouble understanding how to get the compression past my passagio(G4). Is the larynx supposed to remain low or does it change when you go into mix voice? I can’t seem to find the right coordination…. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
Do you know how to engage the false vocal folds because when i try to do it, it just sounds like coughing but with sustained bass and not beefy vibrations like you. btw, i think it might be some other larynx structure and not the fvf. i have scowered the entire internet but to no avail bruh
Hey guys so ive been learning how to pitch scream like sam carter of architects lately and i think i got it for the most part. The problem im having is when trying to pitch scream higher registered parts such as the lyrics in "holy hell" "but now the rivers are running red and the skies have been set ablaze" I can only hit the middle octave and cant hit the highest harmony. I know that theres several layers recorded in the track and i cant for the life of me hit the high harmony. I cant even really find a good example of sam carter or anyone doing this high ass pitched scream without fx and a mic so i cant tell what it would even sound like without that. Not sure if hes using purely fry + head voice. If anyone knows how to hit it and can give me tips id appreciate it so much!
Thank you so much for this!!! Once you get the practice down that you said to do how do you get to the point where you can add in that vocal fry? How do you know you’re ready, and is it dangerous if done improperly? Maybe I could just search how to do a vocal fry but would that be correct? Then just start doing this and combine the vocal fry once I’ve got this down? Or will it just come naturally as you get louder, like you said your voice will naturally become that way because it wants to as you get louder?
I just figure out that this is What i ´ve been doing for years now. When my friends comes to talk about how I do it, im unable to explain because it always have been there since the start. This vidéo mighty help me to show to my Friends how it’s done Thank you
Ik this was 3 years ago, but could you make a video on how to scream like fabvl? He's an amazing nerdcore artist with a really unique and insane voice and I really wanna learn how its done. Thank you! :D
I know how to do the first one, I can sing using that. But I still find it hard to turn it into a scream... Sometimes I feel a lot of distortion, but it's not enough to become a "scream"... EDIT : I'm almost there... ALMOST... I just don't think it's good enough or correct enough...
I rarely comment but I just have to thank you. This is the video that made me get the vocal fry technique down and I can't describe how happy I am. I've been practicing on and off for years but it finally happened. So grateful this was made and I hope you come back in the future
Ausgezeichnet! A few times I had to chuckle a bit cause it reminded me of every porno I’ve ever seen with the “yea yea yea” but this is actually great vocal technique and advice. Thanks buddy 🙏🏽!! Cheers to you
This is not the way he screamed... He was screaming every time with stupendously amount of power in his breathing and voice sound density. Only with that and plus twang position he made his screams. And of course he had a lot of mobility of the voice and could sing high notes with power belt and density
