There are 3 things I would have done . 1/ have one train run in the opposite direction to the other for Laverton. 2/ set up a bus route for Laverton 3/ Build an airport at Hobart and fly to where ever you want it to fly. EG Hobart to Canarvon/ Grafton and Mt Isa but not to Mildura as that would take passengers away from the hover crafts to Melbourne. Thanks for the series and video's .
You may want to use Signals in both directions near the stations. If you have a train in the station just leaving and you have a train waiting at the signal to enter the station, the train waiting will not move til the train leaving reaches the far away signal.
Hi I know this is late but the Perth Grain lines could have been better utilized by having them move Grain in both directions since you have Grain Farms and Food Factories at each end nearby. Most of your transport lines are only getting Paid for 50% of their time. The Portland and Perth Food lines are closer to 70% utilization time since they pick up Grain on the way back to get more Food.
Seniac go for the great reset. Also, look towards researching future technology levels so you can get commissions off of them. You could also build a second office and get a helicopter pad for better delivery of printing press.
You really need to start reducing your team sizes. Divide them among different product types because you are getting diminishing returns for having such large teams. Also start utilizing leads so you can automate releases AND not forget to do exclusivity rights to your digital distribution! Also meetings increase productivity so reduce times it takes to make products. Also when making a team make sure you only hire like 2-6 high salary employees and fill the rest of the team with medium and low salary that way you can save money AND train them specifically the way you want them to be. (And maybe find the diamond in the rough lead designer for super cheap!) Also you need to read the prompts. Under teams it specifically says to have meetings lead needs to have level 3 socialization.
Replace the retired fools with younger ones so you can train them in the areas that need boosting. Also, create 3 teams for each process. That will give you 24hr coverage on 8hr shifts
Chubby Panda did a video showing how to add just updates to project management which makes it a little it easier for you. It's one less thing to worry about but you still get creative control of everything else. Just set up all your HR with trained team leaders with the reset so they auto replace retirees. The reason you're getting so many is because of the last reset when you replaced everyone in one go instead of spreading it out gradually like one team at a time. HR will spread it out even more for you. Smaller teams can be better. You could do it be specialisation, like 2D, audio, network etc, with a team of each. Some of these get used a lot so you need several small teams. Others don't get used as often so you need fewer small teams.
you can add printers until you are blue in the face but until you add more pallets connected to conveyors, the print jobs will stop once the pallets are full. or build the helipad
When you take all the print jobs and see the big ones in the list, the red numbers mean you won't meet those deadlines. You can tweak the limits of the ones in black with the Priority sliders so more of the big jobs get printed than the little jobs. That's often enough to turn the numbers black.
