I don't suppose you measured the throw of the crank did you? There's a possibility two versions were in circulation. The initial 'wrong' stroke, then a reduced one, to keep the A70 within 750cc for AMA racing purposes. Cheers Pete
Hi, unfortunately we didn't record those as they weren't necessary for our records, the test was done to check the carburetor on the bike, using a gas analyser. The video itself was to simply show the process and the sound of a freshly restored engine.
Hi there, the purpose of the tests was to set up the ignition timing, carburetor and to test the engine rebuilt. All of these were successfully achieved through the test.
@@srmclassicbikes Surely part of the reason for putting a bike on a dyno is to make sure it is giving out similar power output figures that the factory claimed.
