Hola, tengo una Gigboard y la mande a servicio tecnico y no la pudieron hacer funcionar. El equipo prende. Luego queda en modo Loading y se queda ahi... no sale del modo Loading... Alguna sugerencia...?
@NaudioElectronics Nah, you didn't, as you clearly stated in your clickbait thumbnail that it was "impossible to repair"! Nobody can do it if it's impossible.
Great video, Niki! As an engineer myself I loved to see your thought process when you were debugging the problem. Also I was amazed that this chip is sold in Ali Express 😁 And the anticipation at the end, will it start or not 😁 I was also jumping here. Great content! Cheers!
Perfect, exactly the info I needed!! I figured there should be a release? I used a old credit card as the tool. Cut to fit and had to use small pliers to apply enough force. I tried several sizes of zip ties cut to fit but they were all a little too soft to work as well as the expired credit card material. Thanks for sharing your experience!!
That was totally a nice idea to leverage the cable’s capacitance per unit length. Didn’t help me salvage the long cable (my open was in the middle) but a great trick to keep in the toolbox, thanks.
This programmer does not work with PIC16C65B. VPP Overcurrent protection kicks in for some unknown reason. Posted on the Xgecu forums - over 400 views - no answers! Works just fine with cheapo PIC K150 programmer. Also, in-circuit does not work with some chips. Winbond 25Q128 for example - works just fine with SOFI SP-8 programmer. Not convinced of the quality of the T56.
It's not in the list of supported chips. If the chip has an alternate designation, it may be listed under that, or it may be that the chip you want is cross-compatible with one which is in the list.
Good morning Sir, Here I am Goutam Mukherjee from Kharagpur IIT, can You please send me the schematic circuit for Fluke 177 dmm, with the tips for power on problem, I am waiting for Your response, thanks again
Well, you have to check the power supply across the chips, trace the power on circuit etc. I have to see it to tell you what's wrong Here is the Fluke 87V schematics. I believe it is similar to 177 xdevs.com/doc/Fluke/87V/Fluke_87V_Full_service_manual_with_schematic_and_electrical_parts_list_Service_Manual-87VANFullService.pdf
Good work on that one! I have fluke 233 with defective main chip. Cristal works, supply is good but the chip is not running program. May I know where did you ordered a new chip. As I understanding it should be preprogrammed by fluke. Thanks!
Hi Nik I’m wondering if the additional cable that you m connected to the ground was as well connected to the ground on the other connector ? I know that, in guitar circuit they create ghost ground to reduce hum I.e in an LP if you want to reduce noise from the selector to the main circuit, you can have an additional cable that is ground to the selector and twisted around the main core but not connected to the ground at the main circuit.
I have made a phase tester that has two LEDS-one green the other red. Like yours the battery/ circuit is turned on when a mono 1/4 inch male plug is inserted. A small metal screwdriver is tapped on each pickup . A positive spike makes the green LED come on although the re LED sometimes comes on. When reversed and the pickup is tapped by the screwdriver the red LED comes on for a much longer time than the green does.
Thanks. You helped me to open mine without damage. The batteries leaked inside and i needed to clean it. I used a dissamble tool with a bend from a smartphone repair kit.
Risky repair 😂, if remove the epoxy like that , it is possible to cut a copper track , which will definitely will be a catastrophy. Any way you got the job done very well 👌.
