HiRez has always been good at shooting itself in the foot.. Sucks that SMITE 2 and Deadlock are so far from being ready. The biggest issue with Deadlock for me is that its completely souless. There is no overarching theme to captivate people in the way mythologiical deities for SMITE does. The gameplay could be the best ever, but if the theme in Deadlock is just random qwerky heros in psuedo modern environments, its just not going to cut it for SMITE players like me who are attracted to the fantasy aesthetics.
I feel like they should bring back the caduceus shield as an extra item to boost healing since they nerfed healing so much, then Hel can get a bigger heal boost
When that Ares was trying to bait your Dispel at the end I thought you were about to bait him with it, burn your beads to get it back up again. I love tanky hel though, just roaming around constantly spamming abilities is fun.
