My friend who died the following year is in this march! I miss her and it's so nice to watch a piece of film showing her alive! She was 36😢 From Michael McCall!
The number of derogatory, bigoted and sectarian comments from Irish on this vid, accusing the people in the vid of being sectarian bigots.... is not only incredible hypocrisy but comedy gold ! lol It's easy to distinguish if you read, who the true sectarian, xenophobic, bigots are. Only they're blinded by their own hatred, they can't see their own hypocrisy. Priceless ! lol I'm guessing most are kids.
Reading the comments here........ Incredible how the real sectarian bigots, can't see it in themselves. lol Hypocrisy is a word needing investigated by a few individuals. The derogatory comments are quite clearly sectarian and bigoted. It never fails to amuse me, how these individuals click on a video they dont like, in order to feel offended and make derogatory sectarian comments........accusing others of bigotry and sectarianism. 😂😂 Brilliant !!
@@the-blue-barron2791 when you betray your country, you need an excuse to justify it. A British army fighting for a British king. Imagine betraying your country and then celebrating it.
Problem is simply poking fun at these fckn degenerates only dissipates the perception of the damage these scum actually do to society, triumphalism is not ah good thing nor should it be used as ah tool , in any society
I understand the love of tradition but doesn't this just promote more separation? . I knew the marches went on in July in Northern Ireland but in Liverpool?. I don't live in that part of the world but it would be so great see both parties marching together to celebrate healing.
There's been orange lodge parades in liverpool since 1819. The first parade was attacked by 2.000 irish catholics from scotty road who were armed with all manner of weapons. The parade itself was peaceful they were on their way to attend church with an open bible at the front of the parade when these irish catholics attacked en masse at the top of Dale Street and even in the present day the parades are attacked by descendents of the people who attacked the first parade
"Pillars of the community" does that include the members convicted of terrorism .................or does the Liverpool Echo make it up or do you mean pillocks of the community
The racist Orange ideology which does not like all that is not English, Protestant and which does not pledge allegiance to the queen. 30,000 members in 1998 and in 1972 there were 100,000 members The Orange ideology is transplanted as it is from Ulster to Canada, but once rooted, it takes on Canadian colors. The Catholics of British North America being for the most part Francophones, it is against the demographic presence and the political influence of Acadians, Quebecers and Métis that the Orangemen mobilized and are still mobilizing today. . Orange Canada is first and foremost a constitutional monarchy, an integral part of the British Commonwealth, a country where the English language and Protestant culture must continue to triumph. In addition to supporting a sectarian and chauvinistic nationalism which glorifies the supremacy of the British Empire in the world, the Canadian Orange ideology allows itself to be penetrated by the strongly racist current of the American Ku Klux Klan and by the anti-Semitic and fascist currents of the United Kingdom. United. Canadian Orangeism, strongly organized since the mid-nineteenth century, will therefore nestle the Canadian extreme right in the twentieth century. Politics The Orange movement can be proud of having had in its ranks over 300 men who marked the politics of British North America (and later the Canadian federation) at all levels. Among them are four federal prime ministers (John A. Macdonald, John Abbott, Mackenzie Bowell and John Diefenbaker), 12 provincial premiers, hundreds of federal and provincial deputies (many of whom have served as ministers), senators, judges , diplomats, city councilors and mayors. Military In addition to the political apparatus, the movement's penetration is also very strong in the Canadian military hierarchy and the police, both at the federal level and in the provinces, except Quebec. The first Orange Lodges founded in British North America were military lodges, but they did not take root, unlike the civilian lodges later founded by Northern Irish settlers. It was thanks to the armed clashes of 1837-1838 in Lower Canada and Upper Canada that the Orangemen, many of whom volunteered in the militia, made their entry into the colonial forces. The Orange troops in Her Majesty's troops will continue to be important in many military conflicts in the history of Canada and the British Empire. fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Association_loyale_d%27Orange_du_Canada
