idk why but somehow mine doesn't look as vibrant as yours. Are there any shading settings that are required? Edit: kind of figured it out? I had to select the "Cycles" render model instead of EEVEE - tho now my gtx1080 screams in agony.
This is a great tutorial, and I really like the pace of it. However, it would be even greater if you said the values you were changing things to instead of saying "this". would be ace to be able to just listen and follow along! Thanks :)
Not sure if you figured it out since it's been a few weeks lol but when you add an array modifier to anything (and then apply it) all of those repeated objects are now one whole object. So he's able to apply the particle system to those petals at the same time since they are all one object.
Can someone help with install? I've downloaded and extracted the zip and double clicked all the files when i open the Install function in Blender. No dice. I restarted the program but i don't see anything new. Pls help!
Hey, does anybody know why caustics aren't appearing with this? They appear if I completely set the "Clear" value to 1.00, basically turning it into normal glass
I have 14 hours in the blender and I decided to do everything as shown in the video... I don’t believe that the author once understood nothing as much as I did
you could also go into sculpt mode and use the grab or inflate and just adjust it very simply, even with no sculpting knowledge this will get VERY fine results.
Does anyone know hot to fix black hair? I also used subsurface in my render and all the hair appears black. attis hair is perfectly fine even with subsurface :((
It's so unfortunate that there's so little information about volume shaders AND actual volumes like this anywhere. YT tutorials for principled volumes, volume scatters, volume absorptions, and everything else volume are few and far between.
